We got married in a courthouse 14 years ago, ate Italian at a restaurant that’s long since closed, and raised a mini version of us who has all of our worst traits combined, but I get to hang out with my best friend every single day and honestly

oh no I don’t have rejection sensitivity I just want to kill myself because I inquired about a job and they told me it was already filled that’s all that’s totally normal

I want to add to this because I do understand being embarrassed-however I definitely think that @coelii is a badass (for several reasons) but some highlighted below:

-she saw an opportunity that would have been lost on a huge majority of people

-not only did she see an opportunity, after not finding any information, she did a blind and hard inquiry about it with the HR department. (Something that even if I had thought the first I wouldn’t have done)

-this WAS NOT just a regular 9-5 job and was a 6-figure high up administrative role she was reaching out about. (Which is relevant because like-reaching out for an entry or even mid level position is a lot less nerve racking than a high up position).

-despite the job having already been filled, she got her name and experience in in a way that ALOT of companies often look at before they start a search, so like networking works for sure.

-she’s so smart and pretty and also I don’t know if she realizes how young she still is in the career world.

-I love her and you should too
