Couch to 5k day 1 again.
I'm starting over again at 240. I know what it feels like to be smaller and I want it bad. I have a personal trainer, I have a commitment. I'm living in my own house with my bf and control over the foods I'm exposed to. Ready to make these changes and start from where I'm at. Note though that this body walked over 1000 miles of the Appalachian trail this spring. Don't hold yourself back from anything for any reason.
a life you never thought possible … in your wildest dreams!
Lovvvve octoberrrrr
Hey runners (and walkers)! Thought this might be helpful :)
I had this exact picture (it was in a magazine) hung up in my bedroom at my moms.
“Typically, people who exercise, start eating better and becoming more productive at work. They smoke less and show more patience with colleagues and family. They use their credit cards less frequently and say they feel less stressed. Exercise is a keystone habit that triggers widespread change.”
Charles Duhigg (via psych-quotes)
Not perfection, progress.
Sorry the first picture is so low quality, it’s a picture of a computer screen and also the first picture I’ve ever seen of myself in a swim suit at my highest weights… Still totally rocked the bikini.
Before- 240ish Current- 190ish
Things that are different:
I’m leading the pack on my hikes
I can run a full mile, even further!
I am confident in who I am
I smile more
I don’t keep to myself as much
I’m vegetarian
I ditched toxic relationships and developed healthy ones
I’m wearing pants that I wouldn’t have been able to fit into since middle school
I’m older, I’ve started to notice WRINKLES! wtf I’m only 22 not ok with that!
Things that are the same
I’m still me
I still laugh easily
I still don’t take things seriously enough
I still walk around my house in my sports bras (cause I’ve always rocked)
I still have great sex (better sex!)
I still wear a lot of the same clothes, they just fit differently
I'm getting back to this! I am almost done with whole 30 and I'm currently sitting at about 220! It's not perfect, it's progress. I was so wise. Haha!
