“The answer could be either, really. Wether they weren’t here or not, I would still continue my work with a constant emptiness as my main feature; they do make good company, but I don’t feel like me anymore, ever since —

"No way! Why would I ever want that? My dear L is amazing! He lets me do whatever I want, he never insults me, he even let's me poke fun at his other experiment testers!"

Hold on, wait a damn minute. Shinigami? I thought Kira was the only one with a Shinigami. And if you have a Shinigami that means you have a death note too.

But if you have the death note, what happened to Kira? I need an explanation people-

“To put it shortly: Kira lost, my career has continued since then, and I found a Death Note.

As you can imagine, Shortcake is not the same as other gods of Death, which enticed me to study them closely, which is also why I have the notebook without having written in it, I must analyze everything about it or else it’s of no use to me.”

"No, not much! Though that's because I have a much higher pain tolerance than your weak human bodies do!"

"That's a very difficult question, they change sometimes.... but it's been Strawberry Shortcake for about a year and a half now."

"Anything my dear L likes I do too! But I like most flavors of shortcake, lemons my favorite!"

does that mean Stitches is beneficial to you in a case? How so?

"Well, yes and no. While they can't really be of assistance directly, I can have them secure evidence or distract people for me. I haven't used the notebbok yet, and I don't plan to, but they wouldn't be able to tell me the names of the criminals anyway, plus it would ruin the fun of the chase." -L.

explain how Stitches can just pull their limbs off?? that doesn't make sense number one and like basing off their appearance does that mean you have to re stitch them???

“I stitch them back, it’s not a difficult process.”

“They’ve told me that not every shinigami looks like that, I’m guessing that they’re a crossbreed of human and shinigami… whatever the case, they got bullied for it.”

“No, I don’t.

There’s nothing to feel bad for, I’m doing humanity a favor by discovering more about the paranormal; they don’t seem to have a problem with it either, if you were wondering.”

How do you feel about being used as an experiment, Stitches?

"It's super fun! L gets to learn more about us, Shinigami, and I get to be touched by my dear L! It's a pretty good deal, don't you think?"

Research? What kind of research do you do?

“Stitches is a very singular god of Death, I’m conducting multiple studies on them to determine more about gods of death and the differences that they share with Stitches.”

“They can feel it, but it’s very dull. It allows me to do my research without distractions.”

what the heck is stitches like Frankenstein's monster or something?? Do they just come apart?!

“They’re a curious kind of apparition that I’m still studying at the moment; but some parts of them are removable, yes.”
