What is something seemingly innocuous that can trigger them badly? (such as the smell of lilacs having been Whumper's perfume or turkey chili sending them to the hospital with food poisoning etc.)

Hrmm this is a hard one but I think I can come up with some things :) Sera is definitely someone who when triggered, it like ruins the rest of her week- she is very much affected by any reminder of Lark, especially since so many simple things, especially childlike/childhood things are attached to him effectively raising her :) here are some things that I think would definitely send Sera into a state due to its relation it has with Lark:
- any unwarranted/unnecessary touch, specifically on the shoulder. That was a way for lark to show his control over her, so if someone from behind her just even grazes past her shoulder, oh poor sera would be so startled.
- The smell of lavender. I can’t really explain why but personally I feel like sera would associate lark with lavender idk :)
- Any clinking sound of metal, like the opening of a poket knife, or the movement of a kitchen knife :(
- another one I’m not exactly sure how to explain, but the ridges of one’s knuckles. Like, if she focuses on hers or anyone else’s for a little to long she would freak herself out
These are some quick ones, I might reblog this again and give some more in depth answers cuz these are a bit random as I’m on a time crunch before my first class of the day starts heheh >:3
