I'm using Youtube without adblock for the first time in a while and I keep getting ads warning to not immigrate to the United States illegally. What the hell.
They are in Spanish and I'm pretty sure it's location-based since I'm Latin American. Seriously what the hell.
That's insane, like Youtube is at least mainstream and popular everywhere but this is a lesser social media site where Latin Americans make up a relatively small percentage of the userbase. How much at they spending just to try to cover all the bases.

I don't use the tumblr app so I haven't seen them, but for those who have been getting them: I would appreciate if you could reblog and share screenshots, I think it'd be good to spread this info and let more people know that tumblr is getting paid for anti-immigration ads.
on android, you can patch tumblr app to not show you ads

and ofcourse, on browsers that are not google chrome or safari, ublock origin blocks all ads on tumblr
