Newcastle Green Festival 2013
I pretty much forgot to mention that me and a few other fancy pants creative pals got the privilege of being in charge of newcastles 2013 green festivals decorations! Heres some totem poles we were helped with by a bunch of energetic, none biscuit sharing children from North Shields YMCA and the amazingly artistic faye!
Fitting in with the whole Green Festival theme the boards are actually recycled cupboard doors and materials were sourced from MY NEW FAVOURITE PLACE 'house of objects' link : http://houseofobjects.org/
this is a magical place where all sorts of reclaimed/recycled items end up so if youre looking for tubes/pots/bottle caps/ ANYTHING head to this place :)

Submission for Turps mag Feb 2013 issue
a quickie i did for the feb issue of turps mag. It had a loose under the sea theme so i thought id better get something in there!
lets kick things off with a giant squid
so on Friday it was my good friends at turps' launch party at Brewdog Newcastle for their February issue. They kindly asked me to be involved and create a 20 ft giant squid. I never need an excuse to make a squid and i love a challenge so here is the final product in action!

He's still over at Brewdog so get yourself down if you wanna catch a glimpse or get a tentacle hug (strongly recommended)
