Craft stores are just like "can I interest you in some...objects? some items? would you like some things?" and every time I'm like Oooh I love objects and items and things!
For no particular reason at all let me remind you that Witchbrook, a life simulation RPG game where you play as a witch-in-training that attends a magical school where you'll be able to learn magic, brew potions, tend to animals and plants, challenge classmates to broom races, renovate your cozy cottage and befriend and romance npcs, all while living in a charming little town with cute boutiques and cafes, is currently in development!
In light of all the Hogwarts Legacy Drama I have decided that instead of spending my valuable time and energy arguing with people still playing the game, I will instead educate myself on Jewish, Trans, and Scottish Independence Supportive charities. I may not be able to fight J.K. Rowling's hoards of loyal fans, but I can be kind. And I know there's nothing she would hate more than me being kind to communities she despises.
What’s more is that the trans community only receives of $.04 of every $100 awarded to LGBTQ causes. Those cents are reduced when systemic r

18 Jewish anti-hunger and social service organizations from around the world living by the mantra “Let all who are hungry come and eat!”
Please, be kind to one another. If you feel frustrated that you can't stop people from supporting her hate, then fight with kindness instead. Support one another, support your Jewish and Trans friends. And do what little you can, even if it's only spreading awareness.
(Just so everyone is clear, I put Scotland in here because JK Rowling actively compared Scottish Independence supporters to Death Eaters and donated money against the movement, doing massive damage to the movement for years. And all these issues are independent of one another and not interchangeable. I am not equating Trans issues to Scottish issues or using them as canon fodder to support Scotland. I did not think I had to clarify this.)
Things to put in your book of shadows
Of course, only put in your book of shadows/grimoire what you want. If you don't want to put certain subjects in your book then that's fine. It's your book, utilize it how you want. This is just a masterlist of ideas that I've put together. Feel free to add anything else to the list that I may have missed, because there's absolutely no way I included everything.
And for the love of all the gods, if you come across a closed entity or practice, don't try to work with the entity or practice if you're not already part of that group or tradition. You can research it but don't practice it.

Bad kids music hcs!
Riz- Will put on ambient light jazz while he’s in office because he really wants to get into that detective zone. He doesn’t listen to any new/popular music, EXCEPT for fig and the cig figs, because fig sends all the bad kids the new songs before they release, and riz is a good friend. Riz also mostly only listens to podcasts, but not very often because he gets distracted if he’s listening and trying to do something else. Up tempo music makes him very anxious and restless
Adaine- Loves bubblegum pop. Just a big fan of the super upbeat and bouncy songs. She’ll listen to pop when working on spells or just chilling with boggy. She also is a huge lofi fan, especially for studying and when to calm down when she’s feeling anxious. Adaine listens to a lot of musical soundtracks, and tries to get Fabian into them, but Fabian insists that musicals are for nerds
Fig- Fig is a rockstar at heart, she loves the intensity of rock music, but she also loves to listen to anything her friends recommend to her. She introduces Ayda to a lot of different genres of music, and she and Ayda are the classic ear-bud sharing couple. She also is a secret fan of her mom’s old music (like 80s and disco) but she would never tell anyone that.
Gorgug- Gorgug loves to share music with Zelda. They are both huge fans of heavy metal and all sorts of intense rage music, and their texts are a constant stream of recommendations. Gorgug also enjoys movie scores and instrumental music. He listens to the scores of his favorite movies while he is working on his tinkering projects, and he always enjoys a good beat that he can drum along to.
Kristen- Kristen isn’t huge music fan. She used to sing a lot in church, but now that she doesn’t worship Helio, she feels kind of distant from music. Tracker listens to a lot of indie artists and introduces Kristen to them, but Kristen doesn’t really listen to music when she’s alone. She only really likes a few songs, and livin la vida loca is one of them.
Fabian- Fabian is the type of guy who insists that he listens to really underrated and underground artists, and acts like such a music snob about it. In reality though, the artists he listens to are pretty popular, he just has no idea. He also listens to music with his mom, and she is a huge fan of music from centuries ago, because that’s all Telemaine ever played for her. Fabian listens to sea shanties when he’s missing his dad.
The aux chord is a literal mess. Riz will panic and will pick whatever is the most recent in the search history, everyone has to cover their ears when gorgug picks a song, fabian will go on a long rant about how his song is so unknown, meanwhile no one can hear it cause he's talking to loud, fig and the cig figs is followed by adaine playing six or sm. Kristen just picks the same song each time
this is insanely helpful for my character playlists, thank you <3
Forcing schools to out students six weeks after learning about their sexual orientation puts LGBTQ+ youth in danger. Florida schools should be a place where kids feel supported, not scared.
This bill already required schools to inform families that their children identify as LGBTQ+ upon coming out. Outing students was not a requirement when believed that doing so might lead to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. With this amendment, there is no longer a way around it.
This bill will force children to hide who they are in fear of being outed. Our youth will be at an even greater risk of abuse, neglect, and even homelessness. This bill is dangerous for LGBTQ+ students and harmful to education.
Florida’s Don’t Say Gay amendment is not okay. Do better, Ron DeSantis.

What is protection?
Protection is a very broad word for a very large topic. Protection can come in different forms, like protection jars to wards.
└─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───┘
┌────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────┐ What is warding?
Warding is setting up specific objects to protect you and your space. They can be energy wards or physical wards. Wards are used to protect against any harm that is thrown your way. The strength of wards varies, so you may need to change them out very often, or only when you think your wards have been compromised.
For warding, you can ward of anything from spirits to hexes to more mundane things, like jealousy. I will only be giving you a broad list of good warding technics, but its up to you to find what works best for what. I can’t tell you how to do your practice. └────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────┘
┌────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────┐ Well, how do you set up a ward?
Any way you want! There’s no right or wrong way to ward. All you need is the ability to focus your intention on an object or your entire space. └────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────┘
┌─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───┐ Do I need to change out my wards?
Yes! Its a good idea to recharge your wards or change them out once a month (or as often as you think is needed!) └─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───┘
┌────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────┐ What are some correspondences with wards?
Herbs/Food good for warding: Onions; Garlic; Rosemary; Vinegar; Marjoram; Basil; Anise; Raspberries; Peaches
Pokemon types (for popculture witches): Fighting; Flying; Dark
Elements: Water
Animal: Moon snail shells can be worn on a necklace for personal wards
Other: Egg shells can be sprinkled around your house; fallen leaves can be laid around the outside of your house for warding if you grind them up with some egg shells; War water is great for warding; River water; The color black └────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────┘

╔═══════☆♡☆═══════╗ What is banishing?
Banishing is the act of forcing something away from you and your space. This is most talked about when dealing with unruly spirits or negative energies or even people. ╚═══════☆♡☆═══════╝
╔═══════☆♡☆═══════╗ How do I banish?*
Banishing can be as simple as yelling “yeet” and throwing salt at the offending target. Or it can be a giant. complex ritual that involves calling upon your entities to help you. It depends on what you’re banishing and if you have the proper tools to do it a certain way. If youre trying to get rid of a grumpy spirit guest, you can just ask them to leave. If they refuse, then yeet them. If you’re trying to get rid of a something much larger or possibly more dangerous, you may need to do a ritual for it, to make sure it’s done sucessfully ╚═══════☆♡☆═══════╝
╔═══════☆♡☆═══════╗
What *needs* to be banished?
Nothing *needs* to be banished, but you may want to do something about demons or rude spirits that are physically harming you or anyone else in the house. ╚═══════☆♡☆═══════╝
PLEASE NOTE: You are not allowed to use closed practices or rituals to get rid or banish something if you are not apart of the culture in which they come from. No Palo Santo or White Sage for you.
╔═══════☆♡☆═══════╗
Correspondaces for Banishing.
Herbs/Food: Salt; bitter foods; salty foods; Spicy foods; chili (cayenne pepper, black pepper, chili); lemon-infused water; sugarfree coffee with cinnamon; curry; pepper
Pokemon: Dark types
Element: Water; Fire
Other: Sea water; Storm water; Waning moon ╚═══════☆♡☆═══════╝
* How to unbanish things:
It’s very hard, that’s why banishing shouldn’t be your first step. If you must unbanish something, try a summoning or calling upon spell. Take down what ever you are using to make sure what ever you were banishing stays gone, and cleanse the area for a new, blank slate.
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
Here are your two main and most basic ways to protect your self on a more advanced step. Please remember if you need just basic, foundation protection, to just make a protection jar.
Remember that you are worthy of love and happiness. Drink some water and do some journaling today if you want!
