When he looks through the peephole he sees--well, not the last person he expected. That would be, like. Rihanna. Kim Jong Un. The queen of England, seeing as she's bloody dead and all. Something like that. So: not the last person he expected. But even so, Charles Leclerc obviously drunk at Lando's door at four AM is still at the very least a bit of a surprise.

i know no one ordered a sequel to the horrible tragic russtappen fic that's about the even more miserable toxic charlando happening in the background but here it is anyway :D

i think the main point that would make them toxic is that charles is impossibly positive and lando is irrevocably negative… feel like that would make sharl see lando as kinda pathetic and ungrateful while lando would see sharl as shallow and fake. also the sex is kinda bad

Max pulled his tail back under the blanket, suddenly ashamed to even be in the same room as the Eldri, tainted and claimed by another.  Hannah glanced up from the monitors. “We were able to remove it without causing any additional damage. All your tail bones are in place and healing nicely.” Maybe, hopefully, they took it off before Charles saw it.  His tail curled slightly, the motion still unfamiliar after being trapped for so long, but it was free.  He was free.  His gaze lowered, his fingers twitching slightly in Charles’ grasp before he exhaled. “ . . . Thank you.”
