The silence in his new apartment didn’t sit well with him. It all heavy-pressed against Alec’s eardrums until he could hear the steady, mechanical ticking of his own wrist watch. He refused to look at the watch. He knew what the time was. Precisely, twenty-three minutes past midnight. The exact hour when his thoughts always drifted back to the finality of the courtroom ink, the cold handshake of a mediator, and the sudden, staggering emptiness of a life halved by a judge’s gavel.
Alec sat at his kitchen island, a glass of amber scotch resting on the sleek quartz surface. He hadn’t touched it since. The ice had also melted long ago, so the alcohol was watered down to a pale, useless gold. Before him lay a leather-bound planner, which was the only relic of his old life that still held any meaning. For years, Alec’s world had been defined by precise numbers, predictable outcomes, and strategic control. He was always the man who solved the equations and who could balance the scales. Yet, the more he stared at the blank pages of the upcoming week, the more powerless he felt.
The divorce wasn’t just a failure of his marriage, it collapsed his whole life. He felt bitter and resentment, not just toward his ex-wife Cheryl, but towards the entire concept of the life he had built around it. He’d done everything right according to the ledger. He had provided, played the part of the respectable, stable husband; and in return, he had been handed a box of his own books, a standard custody schedule for his own son that felt more like a prison schedule for him, and an apartment that smelled too strongly of fresh paint and cheap laminate.
As he kept his eyes locked on the pages, a sharp knock broke the quiet, startling him out of the gray fog in his mind.
“Huh, who the bloody hell is here at this hour?” The divorced man asked, half annoyed and half concerned. “Hell, who even knows that I’m here?” Walking up to the heavy, wooden door, he found himself facing face-to-face with three, iconic colleagues of his.
“Finally!” Yul pushed past Alec without an invitation, smelling strongly of expensive-cologne and cheap energy drinks. Following his lead was Sam and Spencer, who felt the presence was filled with loneliness and hitting rock bottom. Yul turned to Alec to face him.
“Look at you, sitting in the dark like a gargoyle. You’re pathetic, Çelik. The ink on the papers are dry. You’re a free man! And tonight, we are celebrating that freedom whether you like it or not.”
“I’m not in the mood for a drink, Yul,” Alec exasperated, his voice filled with a bubble of pure exhaustion dropping over his features. “And I certainly don’t remember giving you three my new building code.”
“Relax, your ex-wife told us where you were living now.” Sam revealed all calm, not wanting to increase conflict.
“Besides, this is for your own good,” Spencer added, adjusting his glasses, not once feeling intimated by Alec’s cold glare. “You've been a living hell for a month now, Alec. A change of scenery might statistically improve your cortisol levels.” Alec rubbed the bridge of his nose, feeling a headache blossoming right behind his eyes. He wanted to throw them all out and sink blank into his resentful quiet. But as he looked past them into his living room, at the single cardboard box of unpacked academic journals sitting under the television, a sudden, heavy wave of defeat washed over him. Staying here meant staring at the walls and it meant counting the minutes until morning.
“Fine,” Alec reluctantly muttered, reaching for his dark overcoat by the door. His voice was laced with a deep, cynical bite. “Where are we going?” Yul grinned a flash of white teeth with no genuine warmth and evil plans hiding behind it.
“A little place downtown. High End Secretive. The kind of place where a guy like you forgets he ever had a mortgage or a shitty, ass marriage.”
Currently in progress of making an AU where Apple and Raven are the Ladybug and Cat Holders in the Ever After High universe as I'd mentioned in these past posts of mine.
Hopefully the first chapter will be made this weekend, but before I do anything else, here's a list of all the holders and the miraculouses that fit them.

Hey y'all, just wanna give you all a list of some upcoming fanfics I plan to write and submit! There are a lot, but these are the ones I wanna do the most. Most of them are either Miraculous, Crossovers, or both lol.

Ruby and Sapphire have been together for over 1,000 years. Love can be such an eternity, you may have forgotten one or two or even more anniversaries! Don’t worry, Steven’s got it all under control. Ruby/Sapphire Rupphire Romance.
The Undercover Tales of Rena Furtive and Invisible Hornet:
Fandom: Miraculous
AU, Post Miraculer. Ladybug tells Chloe that she cannot be Queen Bee anymore due to her identity being exposed, but instead of taking back the miraculous, she decides that it would be better if Chloe went undercover instead. Then when Alya is exposed as Rena Rouge, it’s now up to the two vicious enemies to put their differences aside and work together undercover as Rena Furtive and Invisible Hornet. Chloe/Alya and Queen Bee/Rena Rouge friendship.
The Lost Miraculous:
Fandom: Miraculous
Post Miracle Queen/Queen Banana/AU. Angry for being kicked off and replaced, Chloé vows to never help Ladybug ever again and to destroy her once and for all. While on the run, the blonde stumbles upon a mysterious box with question marks all over it. Curiously, she takes it home, and it’s revealed to be the Spider Miraculous! Bitter and vengeful at Ladybug and hating the new hero Vesperia, Chloé decides to use the miraculous for her advantage and decides to call herself a new hero: Tiarantula. However, The Spider Kwami, Octod starts to see that maybe the young blonde girl is not evil or malicious, but someone who “is lost, just like him.” Chloe/OC friendship.
A New Donk City Date:

An Ever After High/Miraculous AU where Apple and Raven are Ladybug and Cat Noir. Apple calls herself Royalbug while Raven goes by Queen Noir, and their relationship is similar to LadyNoir with Raven flirting with her, only for Apple to playfully reject her. But as their civilian shelves, it's the total opposite: Apple is the one to flirt with Raven while the latter finds it embarrassing as hell.
Also, Rapple was one of my favorite ships from the show, and I just love how gay coded they were. <3

Inspired by the Barbie adaptation, "The Princess and the Pauper," and the original Mark Twain story, Chloé and Zoé are two different, but similar looking girls and one day meet as they talk about their lives and how different they are. When Chloé, after being Queen Bee on a mission, is kidnapped by a sentimonster made by Hawk Moth and Mayura, it’s now up to Zoé to use the bee miraculous and pretend to be Queen Bee until the real hero is found.

The Undercover Tales of Rena Furtive and Invisible Hornet Preview:
(This first part takes place during Season 3, Episode 9, Miraculer. However, it will be rewritten in order to fit the AU a lot more.)
Nadja: "Okay! Of course! That's brilliant! And Ladybug pulls it off yet again! She defeated Destroyer with the help of all her superhero friends!"
(Just like in the original episode, Miraculous Ladybug fixes everything.)
Chloe: "All? ALL?! What about Queen Bee? Ugh!"
(She throws Sabrina's phone against the ground in fury and then crosses her arms. Sabrina, like in the original, picks up her phone, all sad.)
Sabrina: "That's really not cool."
(Chloe, this time, tries to remain calm.)
Chloe: "Oh, you so don't get it. Ladybug only calls on me when she has serious villains to contend with."
(As with the original episode, Sabrina can only just agree with her best friend.)
Sabrina: "Uhh, yeah! Of course."
(Feeling neglected once again, Chloe looks down at her prized possession: A photograph of her and her idol, Ladybug. Speaking of which, the spotted hero has made her way to her main partner, Cat Noir at the Eiffel Tower.)
Cat Noir: "Still haven't spoken to her, huh?"
Ladybug: "You know how dangerous it is to use Chloe. Everybody knows that she was Queen Bee, everyone including Hawk Moth. He can use it to trap us. That's why our identities must remain a secret."
Cat Noir: "And the best kept secrets are the ones you don't share. Yeah-yeah, I know. I don't think Chloe knows that her time as Queen Bee is over, though."
Ladybug: "I know, I just haven't had time to tell her, and (her Miraculous beeps) and I won't today either, I'm about to transform back!"
(Before she's about to go, Cat Noir gives her some advice.)
Cat Noir: "M'lady, promise me you'll go talk to her. It's the right thing to do."
Ladybug: "Yeah, sure."
(Ladybug then takes off, and when the close is clear, she destransforms.)
Ladybug: "Tikki, spots off."
(Ladybug detransforms back into Marinette)
Tikki: "Do you know when you're gonna tell Chloe the truth, Marinette?"
Marinette: "I'm not sure how I'm even gonna tell her, and to be honest, Tikki, I actually don't want to renounce Chloe from the team."
Tikki: "What? But, what about her identity?"
Marinette: "I know the more we use Chloe as Queen Bee, the more danger we're putting her in. However, part of me knows that she's important to the team as much as Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, and Carapace are. I'd just wish there was a way that we could still have her without being Queen Bee."
Tikki: (flies up and smiles at Marinette) "I'm sure you'll find a way to do that, Marinette."
