I have been super inactive lately; this is my first post in nearly a month :/ so sorry about that! Those are my new flowers that I got from Tesco but they are so pretty and elegant :) In my notebook is my positivity page I made for the new year. It's basically just a page full of little things that I'm grateful for in everyday life. I add things to it now and again ~ I have a big science assessment and a big maths assessment in the next two weeks!!! oh my goddddd I am panicking if you have any study tips please let me know and I will admire you foreverrr

Busy week! Quick post - some notes on the Norman Conquest and a small breakfast I had the other day :)

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it, happy holidays to everyone else! I’m also looking forward to the new year. Does anyone do New Year’s Resolutions? Sometimes mine are simple things like go to sleep earlier and drink more!

Okay, sorry it’s so late, but I’ve been super busy these past two weeks!

I was tagged by @justjasminestudying :)

1. Last thing you studied?

I’ve been working on my social science speech. (hey, alliteration!) I had to pick a charity and prepare a presentation to convince my class to support it. The charity I chose was Mind, and the issue I am presenting is mental health :)

2. Fave song at the moment?

I don’t really have a top favourite! Lately I have been listening to Never Be The Same by Camila Cabello, but I also like many other songs and artists.

3. Fave blog and why?

This one is hard… maybe @justjasminestudying, because she’s come so far these past few months (and have you seen her titles?). Another top favourite would be @studyquill because her notes are just beautiful :’))

4. Rate Jasmine’s originals!

I think they’re lovely! I would love having notes for my study like hers. So colourful!

5. Celebrity crush?

I don’t have one, actually. I’ve got celebrities I admire, but not a crush, as such.

6. Fave colour scheme?

I like all colours really. Like, most colours from one end of the spectrum to the other! I suppose, light pink and white go well together. And blue and silver.

7. Career plans?

I would like to be a lawyer! It’s what I’ve wanted to be since I was around 10, actually.

8. When did you make your blog?

Around July 2017, I think.

9. Why did you make your blog?

As a bit more motivation to study, I suppose, and to see what other people do. Seeing everyone else’s study notes and methods and what works for them has helped me create my own way of working.

10. Something you can’t live without?

I always have a nail file with me. I have one in my school blazer, my coat pocket, my handbag, on my bedside table, where I study.. Everywhere! I also tend to carry my phone with me a lot. And lip balm.

an early 2017 follower appreciation post

wow. 2017. i cant believe its almost the end. 

i only started this blog in august, and im already on 2K.

honestly, i cannot thank you all enough for everything you have done for me. 2017 has definitely not been easy, but knowing i can just open tumblr on my laptop or phone just makes it all better. not only do you guys push me to do my work, but you have also helped make some of my saddest days, that little bit better. all the friendships, mutuals….everyone– is just incredible. i’ve seen so many people grow and its just amazing. 

when i made this blog, i was worried that nobody would like what i do, or if i simply wasn’t studious enough; however, i’ve realised that having a studyblr isn’t all about being clever- its really about learning. and i’ve certainly done a lot of that. i’ve learnt so many new things, picked up on good study habits, and just generally improved in everything.

what i love the most about this blog is obviously my amazing, beautiful followers, but also when i get a new studyblr say they look up to me in their intro post- it makes me so happy. it’s honestly so surreal to see my name as an inspiration beside incredible blogs such as @studyquill and @emmastudies , which i would never imagine to be compared to. 

i love you all so much. thank you for all the support both on my blog and my studytube.

here’s to a great 2018.
