Thou shall not judge, because thou has fucked up before too.
Sonya Teclai (via kushandwizdom)
That is the saddest part when you lose someone you love—that person keeps changing. And later you wonder, is this the same person I lost?
Amy Tan, The Kitchen God’s Wife (via wordsnquotes)
Opinion is really the lowest form of human knowledge. It requires no accountability, no understanding. The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another’s world.
Bill Bullard (via stardust-seedling)
I hid my deepest feelings so well I forgot where I placed them.”

Some reminders to all of you who are cramming:
Don’t panic! Organize! I sorted out the handouts that I will need to study for the soonest, punched holes on ‘em then compiled it to my cutie patootie binder!
Never underestimate the power of thirty minutes! You can do so much in such a short period of time!
Sleep at around 9 pm to 10 pm! This one hour sleep/nap will make you energized to do an all nighter. I don’t know why but it’s actually been proven by science. (Or not.)
You don’t have to study everything. Seriously. Focus on your weak points and just refresh on the easier topics.
Watch cartoons on your breaks!
Play your favorite song on the background.
Visit your favorite studyblr! Just kidding!
Know and convince yourself that you will ace your exam whether you finish studying or not because duh? You are amazing like that! (It’s all in the mind!)
When you feel really sleepy, make a list of things you’d want to have and do. It will perk you up and motivate you to study a little longer.
If you did not know yet, staying up until morning and being able to see how the sun rise up is one of the best things in life!
Enjoy your current state of helplessness. You will laugh at it in the future when everything turned out fine!
Remember, nothing worth having comes easy!
And oh! Make yourself some iced coffee! They make studying much more bearable! :)
Some people smoke, others drink, and others fall in love, each one dies from a different way.

You think it’s cool to hate things. And it’s not. It’s boring. Talk about what you love and keep quiet about what you don’t.

Stop ...
1. Hanging out with people who don’t appreciate you, or who suck all the energy out of your life.
2. Running from your problems and hiding from the truth
3. Acting as a door mat and putting yourself last.
4. Longing for the past and the way things used to be.
5. Beating yourself up for the stupid things you did
6. Looking to others to make you feel happy, or believing that “stuff” will bring you happiness.
7. Rejecting new relationships because you were hurt or disappointed in the past.
8. Being jealous of other people. It’s not a competition – sets some goals, and go for them.
9. Holding grudges. Forgive, let go – and then move on with your life.
10. Trying to be perfect. It’s not realistic so don’t waste your time.
The truth is that nobody is owed an apology for anything. Apologies are lovely when they happen. But they change nothing. They do not reverse actions or correct damage. They are merely nice to hear.
Augusten Burroughs, This is How (via wordsnquotes)
1. Wake up early and make a list for the day. You have so much you want to accomplish and you tend to shoot towards the stars only to forget which one you wanted and fall back down with only stardust to show for it. 2. Go for a run at night. I know you have a special relationship with the dark, you hate how it stops you from seeing what’s in front of you, but then again it’s the thrill of unknown that makes you pick up your stride and push harder. 3. Pick up a book. Finish it. I know it’s hard, the characters are always doing so much more than you and that makes you restless, you want to experience life like them. You crave experiences. But finishing anything is an experience in itself too. 4. Clean your goddamn room. Right now. We both know clarity is something you have been lacking lately. Take a day to organize all the thoughts that burst and streak like July fireworks in your head into sticks of dynamite you can use to set the world ablaze. Folding a couple pairs of socks wouldn’t hurt either. 5. Lastly and most importantly, love yourself; no one else is going to do it as hard as you do.
Tayo Omisore (via wordsnquotes)
Your silence speaks for itself. And I believe every word it says.
