i wish this wasn't a core belief i see in huge swaths of people online. we shouldn't be spreading the belief that just because you're mentally ill you're hurting yourself and everyone and everything around you. especially when you're just chilling and being alive.

We need to take this one step further and abolish the concept of "mental illness."

People should be allowed to have struggles, issues, and quirks without being considered literally sick in the head. People should be allowed to deviate from the norm without being considered to have biological brain diseases.

These "illnesses" can't be proven to exist on any physical level. Psychs demand blind faith in the psychiatric system despite the complete lack of any evidence to back up their pseudoscience.

They decide who's "broken" and needs "fixing." A clear and obvious mirror to religious authorities deciding who's "sinned" and needs to "repent/be saved."

The idea that anyone who's been psychiatrized is obligated to play their games is insulting and dehumanizing. We should get to decide what "healing" looks like, or if there's even anything to "heal" from in the first place.

The psychiatric system as a whole is a tool of the christofascist police state. The propaganda that "everyone needs therapy" is meant to enforce social control.
