Here it is, my 6th Top 10 List.
For me, this year was rough from a fandom standpoint. For Harry and Louis publicly, it was all about taking control and making smart moves. I hope they get to keep doing that in 2019.
It’s funny, because as each year has passed, I feel like there’s been less specific incidents to point to, like the Cell Phone Incident or tattoos. As a fan, the increasingly nebulous nature of these lists seems like a loss. But to Harry and Louis, I really think it’s a victory. So I hope my list in 2019 is even more vague than this one.
Happy New Year. We’re not dead yet.
10. Ben Winston continuing to fail at convincing people Harry lived with him for a long period of time. Please stop, Ben.
9. Harry not naming “his person” like it’s a big secret when every public relationship he has is the same public spectacle with “Who is XXX” articles in the Sun.
8. Harry loves Louis and fans who love Louis.
7. The Blue Bandanna returns the weekend Harry played shows in Philly & NYC and Louis happened to go to a music festival an hour away.
6. The Travel Patterns. All of them. There were several.
5. Still the One. I will always be Joe Biden about this.
4. If I Could Fly on B Stage and the ensuing dramatic pauses and shushing.
3. Philly/NYC Firefly weekend. The whole thing. All of it. Louis didn’t go to Coachella when he could have because he had other plans, so he went to the one East Coast music festival that coincided neatly with Harry’s East Coast tour dates.
