omg im sorry guys i saw a lot of people talking about it so i thought it was common knowledge!!!

apperently (according to the 8.06 leaker but we dont know for sure) jon kills daenerys and drogon takes her body to essos, as in canon, and then drogon is shown burning dany’s body and dany opens her eyes. then the last shot of the series is bran opening his eyes, implying he saw what just happened. AKA A WAAAAAAAY better and WAAAAAAY more thrones way to end it

I will never ever forgive what the writers did to her character arc, she is and will always be my Queen/Khaleesi/Mother of Dragons.

p.s BUT that shot of her where Drogon’s wings appear behind her is probably the most beautiful camera shot I’ve ever seen and one of the only good things that came out of that finale

p.p.s I hate to say it but the STORY/WRITING (not the cinematography/costumes/specials effects etc) of the Game of Thrones finale/season 8 is up there at the level of Lost when it comes to finale let downs.
