Packing:

The silicone in comparison to the gen 1 felt very similar however, with the gen 2 the silicone felt as if it was more durable as well as more waterproof in the funnel area. I can't say 100% whether it was because this was brand new silicone or because the composition of the silicone was actually different than that of the gen 1- either way it felt fantastic. Extremely comfortable to pack with throughout the day (I personally think the slingshot harness is a v good harness for the sleek gen 1 and has worked amazingly when holding it in place to pee at a urinal, so I figured I'd give it a go with the gen 2!) My girlfriend- who has only been with cis males until we started dating- said that it gave a more natural looking bulge in my boxer briefs (which needless to say made me feel super confident!) The funnel's inner material was extremely soft against my natural anatomy and quickly matched the temperature of my skin making it feel more natural- akin to that of the gen 1 sleek.

Peeing: I will say I didn't dare to take this bad boy to the urinal on my first day wearing it considering the new gen 2 technology. I instead opted for a stall with a closing door for comfortable and discreet first-time positioning of the funnel's tail to ensure I had a solid seal before I went and so that if I had any sign of leakage I could quickly stop the flow, empty the funnel and sit down. To my very pleasant and rewarding surprise, the gen 2 funnel system had me feeling like a champ at my first attempt to go. There was no leaking, no awkward urine pooling in the balls as there was with the gen 1- also the funnel shaped to the natural curve of my body unlike the gen 1 that just kind of had a huge cup on top of it which I ended up trimming down immensely for a more comfy packing position. The stream was, again, very smooth, no backflow- this was the second easiest first pee experience I have had and the first is the EZP by transthetics. I think that's saying a lot for how far FreeToM has come with their new product.

Gen 1:

My girlfriend said that the silicone of the gen 1 was really soft- still realistic feeling but it wasn't very rigid as she's experienced in the past. For myself, I found it was difficult to keep positioned against my body correctly for penetration without the rod digging into my anatomy or to try any position than cowgirl because of the softness and awkward un-anatomical position of the prosthetic.

Gen 2: This one was more rigid (as per my girlfriend's experience) and for me it was a lot easier to position to my own anatomy for the pleasure feature and for trying different positions. The natural curve of the cup on this prosthetic allowed for it to be positioned in a more anatomically correct position, making it easier to do different positions successfully and pleasurably for the both of us.

Pleasure:

During play: pre t I couldn't feel the pleasure slide too well while I was the one topping, but when my partner was on top I could feel the pleasure slide a lot better. It was v soft, comfortable and natural feeling against my own anatomy. I personally do not prefer to masturbate with a prosthetic on as it somehow makes me feel more dysphoric- HOWEVER with how soft and skin-like the pleasure slide felt against my own anatomy during play, I would say it should feel great for any guy going solo :)

You have to choose whether you want to vote at home using a postal vote, or vote at university. If you want to vote at university then just register again with your university address. After entering your address it will ask if you also live at a second address, and you need to click “Yes, I’m a student with home and term-time addresses” and you can apply to vote just like you would at home.

What’s the deal with T and pregnancy?

Someone asked us:

If I take testosterone (as a trans man) could I still get pregnant and carry a child to term?

Yup, you can definitely get pregnant. While taking testosterone can have an impact on fertility, it’s not birth control, so pregnancy is definitely still possible as long as you still have your uterus and ovaries.

If you get pregnant while you’re taking testosterone, contact your doctor or nurse right away. If you want to carry the pregnancy to term, you’ll need to stop taking testosterone until after you give birth.  

If you’re taking testosterone and you know you want to become pregnant, tell your nurse or doctor  so you can get the healthiest start to your babymakin’. They can help you come up with a plan to prepare for pregnancy.

Things you should know before you start testosterone

1. If you menstruate your periods will not stop immediately and it is likely that you will bleed or spot irregularly through the first two months or so. ( stock up on Any supplies you might need and be patient while your body adjusts)

2. There is no real timeframe as to when noticeable physical changes begin, every body is different, some take more time than others to grow more hair or change voice pitch. Just expect differences to be gradual.

3. Your immune system is likely to become weak, try to get in the habit of taking vitamins daily to stay healthy.

4. Just like first puberty you can probably expect some acne.
