nico nico nii! { ❤ open
❤ } A mutual killing. Nico’s mind had gone blank as soon as the words had left the stuffed bear’s mouth. Visions, once so clear in her mind, of a brightly lit stage and a cheering crowd, disappeared in that instant. Granted, she was the SHSL School Idol. The thought brought a little tilt to her lips.
«To think… I got such a grand invitation to this school, and as a school idol, too!»
She could only hope the school would be worthy of her exceptional talent. While the thought alone of killing another made her mouth dry, the idol was sure she would be able to get out of the place. After all, that couldn’t be legal, could it?
Absentmindedly twirling a hand through raven locks, ruby eyes scanned her surroundings. The plane ride itself had been turbulent as it was, and Nico was certain she looked less than her best. But still, if she was to get out of the school, she might need some help. Luckily, she caught a glimpse of a figure, standing just a few feet away.Dashing over to them quickly, but not fast enough as to ruin her carefully arranged bangs, she pulled a cute pout as she approached.
❝Nico nico nii! Super Idol Nico Nico was just wondering if you could help her! Nico is super lost right now, and needs to know how to get out! Do you know how?❞ { ❤
If there was any particular type of person that Rouga was not good at dealing with, it was what many might refer to as 'the overexcited puppy.'
They were annoying, plain and simple. People like that were constantly bouncing off the walls, chattering endlessly (needlessly) about whatever nonsense popped into their heads at the given time. They were overly-curious, in-your-face, all too often couldn't take a hint...in general, the kind of person Rouga did not mesh well with.
And yet, they always seemed to find him.
He glanced over his shoulder at the sound of approaching footsteps, brow furrowing some before he finally turned around. Much as he would've liked to, ignoring someone like this was frequently counterproductive. It would be best to get any conversation over and done with, even if her question was...--
"... Do you think I'd be sticking around if I knew a way out of this place? There isn't one."
"So...this time tomorrow, you're gonna be busted, huh."
He can't say he'll miss playing babysitter for some doll, but...it'll feel a little off, not having it around.
... Though, maybe it's not the lack of the robot kid itself that'll bug him. Maybe it'll be the lack of company...if he can even call this thing that. It's not living, not really, and he'll be glad he doesn't need to take care of it anymore come the next day, but...--
"Pathetic."
Shockingly, the infant in Rouga's arms is...quiet. Not broken, as one might expect--just quiet. Sleeping, even...and quite peacefully at that.
"... They toss me in here, and then expect me to take care of some robot kid? This is a bad joke..."
He was the last person Tasuku was expecting to see here.
Getting himself kidnapped was one thing, but to be able to nab Rouga too? Whoever ran the place was definitely formidable. It was no doubt him too, Tasuku could recognize that gruff voice anywhere, even before he turned around.
"…Aragami."
Their circumstances were a little bit…complicated, no doubt. It was a little hard to carry himself normally around Rouga—the awkward tension was certainly piling up…
To say nothing of that scowl on his face!
"Didn’t think they’d get you too."
…Now what? What else could he really say?
"…Do you need anything?"
Not that Tasuku would be able to deliver at all.
Definitely not the ideal, but if he was going to be thrown into circumstances like these, it was...somewhat a relief that the first person he should come across was another member of Disaster: someone he knew, and someone he was mostly sure didn't pose a threat to him.
Not that he and Ryuuenji were exactly on amicable terms, and not that he'd be Rouga's first choice of companion...but he was a better option than most others he could think of (loath though he was to admit it).
"Yeah. I want to know how I got here, where I am, who 'they' are, and what happened to my deck." He came to a halt a safe distance away from Tasuku and folded his arms over his chest, sour expression still firmly in place. "How much do you know? And...have you run into anyone else?"
He couldn't care less about his other 'comrades,' but Kyouya... If he was somehow also here, then...--
No deck, no Dark Core, and no Ace.
He was pretty damn screwed, wasn't he?
A scowl curled his lips as he turned a street corner, and he kicked viciously at a loose bit of debris on the pavement beneath him. This wasn't good. It was one thing to wake up alone in some unfamiliar wreck of a city, but to do so without a means to defend himself (sans his own hands)? That just added a whole other layer of suck to his current situation.
He didn't know how he'd gotten here, or how long he'd been out. He didn't know what he should expect from this place--if he should anticipate danger, or if finding and approaching another person would be safe.
To be so uncertain...was irritating.
"...--?"
Though, it seemed he could resolve that latter issue, at least: there was someone just up ahead. If he wanted to find answers...they were probably as good a place to start as any.
Maybe not the ideal, but he wasn't in any position to be picky.
"... Hey, you."
Hungry, a bit muddled, lost...and without his Buddy or Dark Core.
Do you see his issue.
okay--okay, introduction time...!!
