rocky discovers human music & is endeared by mitski in particular

finally cracked and made phm fanart because i thought about the mitski thing and then immediately saw one of my favorite videos of all time: the girl learning english and trying to pronounce hippopotamus

rocky spends all his nights quietly awake while grace has to be unconscious for 10 hours + he is an imitative species (as we see in the beginning of the movie) so i think he would try! to learn english words (like the name of a particular artist, or the correct pronunciation of “mp3”) and get immediately pissed off ‘cause the eridian language doesn’t have the “T” sound that english does.
