Soyi was expecting the retaliatory pun. What he wasn’t expecting was the sudden kiss from Stahl before he could react–being caught by complete surprise was very unlike him, and it showed.

Still, if it was a war Stahl wanted, it would be her war to lose–and Soyi would do everything in his power to make sure Stahl regretted attempting to steal a kiss from him, by making sure she couldn’t pull away until both of them were satisfied with the result.

Stahl was definitely satisfied for sure, only having to pull away when she felt she was going to need the moment to better breathe. Panting a bit as she gave Soyi her usual shit-eating grin. "Heh, I got one on you, didn't I?" She stated her face still red some from her actions. Though if anyone was nearby to catch this, they were going to get an ass-kicking for sure. “So...should that be one point for me, none for you?”

“I’m always down for pizza, and pizza means possible leftovers.” Soyi snickered. “Although I think you’re mistaken–you’re the one who’s gonna be holding that L, especially if Smash Bros. is involved. But first is getting back to your place and calling that pizza in. After that, you better be ready to take a Knockout Punch to every stock you’ve got.”

“Oh really? I’ve been practicing hard this time around. I think I might just give you a run for that last piece too.~” Not that there would be a last piece, since they usually don’t always eat the entire thing. Especially since she had bought some sweets as well too that were hanging back at her place for them.

"If you wanted a date, Stahl, you could have just asked like a normal person." Still, Soyi's definitely gonna treasure this particular plush--and he's gonna be thankful that Aiden's nowhere around to hear what he just said.

"So what, are we going out to eat? Somewhere fancy or are we grabbing chow and heading back to your place to chill for the evening? Lohi can watch the place while I'm gone, and I happen to know that Jake's gonna be out of the region spending time with Hannah this evening. So we won't get bothered no matter what the plan is."

“Oh come on, you know I don’t do anything like a ‘normal person.” Then again, she knew if Aiden was around they both would be getting teased something fierce as well.

“I was thinking of heading somewhere to eat, you game for pizza or something a bit more this time around? Then afterwards I owe you a valentines beatdown” In one of their favourite video games of course, I mean heck..what else did she mean? XD

“You’re the first ones here. Wish I could say I was surprised, considering.”

The first thing of note was that Soyi looked like hell–despite what had happened, there was still the fact that he was coated in more than just a bit of blood as he sat on the floor of the Champion’s Chamber. Meanwhile, Aesen was busy making sure that Orion was comfortable and okay before turning his attention to Aiden and Stahl.

“Giovanni’s gone, Lohi’s been called… he’s going to be a mess when he gets here, I can already tell you that much. I also took the liberty of calling Hiro, and he’s probably going to be meeting with Lohi before coming here. Jake still has yet to show up and Hisao’s busy giving a full report to Dad right now. Sera and Wyverna are busy making sure that Orion’s friend is okay before they show up.”

Aesen’s tone was almost deadpan as he spoke, like he was just completely and utterly drained–both mentally and emotionally. Although, to be fair, considering what he’d seen? He kinda was.

“Oh, and Yukin’s exempt from the meeting. Considering how pissed off he was when we saw him? I’m not gonna pull him away from whatever he’s doing to calm down after that whole fiasco.”

Giovanni was gone...and Soyi was still standing there. Did that mean they won? Though...there was no feeling of celebration or victory at all.

And there was the amount of blood that was around Soyi as well, it didn't explain much as to wht happened, but...there was a worry. Was that Soyi's blood or..someone else's? Though why would Aesen say that Lohi would be a mess?

This was something that confused both of the gym leaders most of all. Though Stahl would be the first one to start approaching Soyi. "What happened?" She asked, still unable to get rid of the feeling that she had as well. Though she didn't care he was covered in blood right now. "Did Giovanni get his ass beat for once?" Honestly, that was the only thing she could think of with Aesen saying that he was gone.

Though Aiden noted that from their moods, there didn't seem to be a victory. "Is Orion ok?" was what he did ask, considering Aesen was trying to make him confortable for the time being.

Rocket’s plan to keep all of the region’s trainers and gym leaders busy was rather successful. There was a good number of them lead by an admin that had tried to attack around Onyx City, especially with Soyi being away from the gym it was left up to Stahl to keep the city safe for the time being. While Aiden on the otherhand had elsewhere to deal with near his gym. Either way, both of the gym leaders had much to handle in regards to Rocket, even after Aiden had quickly joined up with Stahl once he had his area cleared out.

Needless to say, when the sirens blared long before, they both knew just what was going on...and that their best friend was going to be in the fray, they wanted to try to make it there...to help Soyi out since he was going to need it. But the sheer number of grunts in their path slowed them down and they could not abandon the civilians either that were caught up in the attack.

While they both were able to get most of the goons knocked out, having to also take one of the admins down as well, they had an aim to try to get to headquarters as quickly as possible...as it was where they both knew Soyi to be last and that he was going to need their support in some manner as well.

The moment they made it to the front door was when the notice was sent out to all of Shokiko. They only just barely made it, and yet...there was a major concern as well between the both of them. Though Stahl had a gut feeling that wouldn’t go away at all, and thus she began to bolt through the door.

“S..Stahl..wait!” the Fire-type gym leader called out, though it seemed to be of no use, she was already inside and bolting up the stairs of headquarters. And thus he had no choice but to follow her as quickly as possible.

Though Stahl wasted no time running to the champion’s chamber, quickly bursting through the door to see just what the meeting was about...and to hope that they were successful at the very least.

Her face sombered at the question. It was a good sign that the little one had taken the petting fairly well, considering it was from a new person, but still, the little one had jerked in her arms from the new sensation, though at least she hadn’t tried to avoid it altogether.

“I haven’t figured out the exact details yet, but from what I could gather… she was abandoned, almost definitely by another trainer, after sustaining some serious injuries. By the time I found her, her eyes were beyond saving, and she wouldn’t have lasted long in the wild in the state she was in, so…” So I took her in, she wanted to finish, but the words were stuck to her tongue. “…I think it might be a while before she can comfortably be around anyone other than me or my team, but she’s been getting better about it, at least. I haven’t thought of a name yet, but I want to wait until she evolves first.” She already had an idea for how to work around her eyesight, but only time would tell if it would work or not.

Yuu didn't need to finish her sentence for Stahl to already know what she did. Honestly... saving another pokemon in need, that is what all of them did most of all.

"I understand, any pokemon that has been abused by humans would have a hard time getting comfortable around anyone." Stahl knew that more than anyone.... having dealt with a few pokemon that once were afraid of humans after being subjected to some awful experiments before. It took some time for those pokemon to start to open up and trust a shifter...let alone a human...

"You're going to be in good hands, little one." She then said to the Eevee, hoping to at least assure the pokemon that everything will be alright despite not being able to see anything at the moment. With that, Trifa let off a quiet bark of approval in that too towards the Eevee, even he was sensible enough to know not to try to startle the small pokemon too.

“I’ve been giving it some thought. If that wannabe Fire Master thinks he’s such a hotshot, why not put his money–instead of his foot–where his mouth is, and come to Shokiko? I guarantee that at least one of the Gym Leaders aside from myself would give him a taste of our region, and I doubt he’d made it all the way to the Elite Four.

If–by some fluke–he manages to make it there, I don’t think he’d like what they have to offer. Between the Elites and the Champion, he’d get his entire team used as a collective mop.”

“How about we just send him towards Aidan’s way first then? He has been looking for some way to ‘ignite’ an ‘explosive’ match. Also, would he even be able to get his way to the Elite four to begin with? Even if he does get past us...I have been hearing that the professor likes to test some of the challengers too.”

    Zero collected himself, looking back ahead of them as the other player pointed these things out. She was right, there were two golems still in the way, and likely more further down the path for all he knew. Considering how well the last attempt went, maybe he should just head back to town for a bit…but then he may never progress.

    “…Are you sure-?” he almost seemed uncertain, and he truly was no matter how much he tried to hide it or how much doing so failed. “You…really wouldn’t mind–?”

"I wouldn't mind at all actually. I'm still trying to adjust to this class, and thus I'm struggling with them too." She stated, admitting just how unskilled she was with the weapon type she was using, that being dual swords.

"I won't force you if you're uncomfortable with it."

Really she was more than cheerful at this most of all, then again, she liked getting the chance to meet some new faces in the midst of adventuring here. Although there were almost no people that she could consider to be as that much of a friend here...most of them she never really got to see, especially on this account.

    Zero’s face flushed, quickly staggering to his feet with the other’s help, grabbing hold of the sword and shield that had fallen away from him. How embarrassing, he was lucky she wasn’t laughing so loud that the entire area could hear. Talk about a horrible way to encounter another player that, for all intents and purposes, looked like they were far more well-versed at the game.

    “W-Well, I…guess you can say that–.” He struggles to admit it, but he shakes his head, “I-It caught me off guard, probably.”

'Machina' wasn't going to be that insensitive at all to let everyone know, besides, everyone had troubles to begin with. Besides, even she was having some difficulty trying to use a class that she wasn't quite accustomed to.

"It is fine, it tends to happen when it comes to dealing with those. There is also a pair of those same enemies further in along the path you probably are trying to go. Though if you want some help, we can always form a party to help you get through there."

Sure not everyone wanted to form a party nor was confident interacting with others, but honestly, he didn't mind helping anyone she came across regardless of what character she was using in here.

“I’ve been doing well, thank you.” She would giggle a bit as the other’s Skarmory began to nuzzle himself under her hand. At the larger creature’s approach, the bandaged Eevee hid behind her trainer’s legs, unable to see the approaching “threat,” but the loud sounds it made when it moved scared her. “And good day to you too, Starscream. I’ll pet you more when you finish getting polished, all right?” Looking down, she noticed the scared little Pokémon hiding behind her, and scooped her up, walking up to meet her aunt. 

“Eevee, this is my Aunt Stahl. She’s very nice, so why don’t you say hello? She won’t hurt you, I promise.” Her question was met with a couple whimpers, before a clearly shy, hesitant greeting.

“Vu…vui? Vee…”

Stahl didn't notice the Eevee cowering behind Yuu's leg at first, despite her pokemon scaring the little blind pokemon. Though the moment she saw Yuu scoop up the little Eevee, she couldn't help but feel bad for it as well.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you, and Starscream is just too energetic for pets. So sorry if he got too excited." She then said to the little one, trying to comfort it a bit before going to gently give Eevee a little comforting scritch.

"What happened to him, though?" She asked Yuu, wanting to know what maybe she might be able to also do to help the little pokemon as well. Even Trifa, who happened to of been napping in the corner, began to come over and sniff the new arrival.

Elesa feels the corners of her lips twitch up, oh how she loved puns! And anyone who could pun just as well as she could was a good one in her books. 

“How gneiss of you to do that. The cast must appreciate the iron of their script. How much pun that must be hm. There is nothing crater than steeling the attention of a captivated audience.”

Stahl couldn't help the small laugh there once the Gym Leader replied with a good stash of puns of her own. Ohh how much fun they were going to have as well.

"Indeed, though I try not to take these opportunities for granite, considering it is rather tuff work as it is too. But I don't mind the chance to better forge my own abilities too."

    “You…didn’t see that, did you-?”

    He was stunned, frozen in place as he spoke, his sword and shield having been knocked out of his hand. A large golem decided it’d be a good idea to hit him, making the knight go flying, only for his cape to hook onto a branch within the forest where they all were. It took a while, but he finally had gotten free only to fall flat on his face…and in front of an audience, apparently. Not his most graceful moment.

Unfortunately, the Duelist in front of him did end up seeing what happened. Unable to resist a small laugh a bit before at least beginning to help the other up.

"I saw the whole thing, those golems can put ya in between a rock and a hard place sometimes." And this was most definitely the hard place. Though all humour aside, she wasn't just going to abandon another player either if they needed help.

"I take it you're struggling trying to solo that particular one as well?"

Two could play at this game, and if Stahl was going to go and get Ground Spider's involvement, Soyi was going to drag Machina into this 'love war', as it were. Planning for a time in which the Ironclad Gym Leader was away from her Gym, the Metagross Shifter slipped in and handed a plane ticket to his shiny brethren. "Make sure she gets this when she comes back, alright? And tell her to pack for a week's stay in Alola."

The moment that Machina gave her the ticket and such and heard what her pokemon told her, the shifter’s face began to flush quite a bit.

“I...that metalhead...he shouldn’t have. I told him he didn’t need to go too fancy.” Though she wasn’t going to say no to a vacation like this. Especially since it meant time with Soyi as well...as long as both of their Metagrosses behaved.

(Well, in light of my other post, I may as well just make it official. I’ll probably be putting all of my sideblogs on a sort of indefinite hiatus actually. I’ll reblog this to all of the blogs but honestly I just don’t have the energy or the time to manage so much anymore even if the amount of threads I have on there is slim compared to here.

If anything, a part of me is regretting giving myself that much of an extra workload most of all, since I think trying to keep up with all of those and do some of the things for them is also stunting some of my other creative ventures.)

Ohh, pun wars was it? Stahl did look as if she wanted to have a bit of fun as it was, what better fun was it to do with a home-region celebrity.

"I have to say, that line was gold there. You're sure not rusty when it comes to your wit in the least." Honestly, Stahl was amused at the Unovian gym leader for such a sentence.

"But, even if I cannot steel the show, I can sure as well iron out the script a bit."

“Good afternoon, Aunt Stahl!”

A very young, very chipper voice rang through the Gym, announcing the presence of a rather tiny child, no older than ten, with a brown-and-cream furball very close at her heels. One would notice the bandages covering its eyes. She had finally made it to Onyx City, so the very first thing she did after resting the night was visit the Gym for a surprise visit. It would make no sense for her to challenge it, seeing as she didn’t aim to become the Champion, but the visit was on her to-do list for certain. Who could blame the child for wanting to visit?

This visit was a surprise once Stahl heard the voice, she didn't think Yuu would be stopping by so soon most of all, but here she was while still traveling on her own journey.

Though the moment Yuu came in, the young child would soon be greeted by the sight of a Skarmory clamoring on over to the little child in order to get a bit of pets and attention from her, not caring that he was still in the middle of a regular polishing at the time.

"YuuYuu, this is a surprise~ How are ya doing?" She asked, laughing some at the sight of the metal bird trying to nudge his head under Yuu's hand.
