The Teacup
Lines from the series and what they we're about.
The funny thing is Karen stops Matt from attacking the bad guys, telling him to think it through because he was hurt and numbers and losing, blah blah blah. But she didn't know Frank was beaten up and kept there, and honestly I think logic would have flown out the window the moment she realized and It would have been Matt stopping HER.
At this point I know and can clearly see they're gonna push for Karen/Matt in season 2, but like why beat a dead horse? You're literally sitting on a pile of gold with Karen/Frank, they clearly still have feelings for each other, although she seems to be trying to ignore it (probably because last time they saw each other he told her not to ruin her life for him). And hasn't it been fully established that she was DONE with Matt, and viceversa.
Just because he's the protagonist it doesn't mean he gets the girl, they haven't made any sense for a while (as in a few seasons and series ago).
So what I'm hearing is that the Gates family emblem is basically The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Ok, Thank you, makes sense.
Thats what I get for returning to a series after so many years🤣
An awestruck Cannibal, and a quote that appeared in the series, can you find it?
Hannibal Lecter is a malewife confirmed!
CHILDREN OF DUNE, SPOILERS
Reading Children of Dune and I'm currently trying to survive the fact that Vladimir Harkonnen has possessed Alia and one of his key rules was being present, but let's be real he's basically in charge, during Duncan and Alias coupling. So my poor boy Duncan has been getting SA'd by that dusgusting piece of trash all this time, without even knowing it, and I'm out here trying not to vomit. Wasn't it enough that he was killed and remade as a WEAPON!! Give my boy JUSTICE!!
Thomas Harris said Hannibal is babygirl and deserves everything he wants, including Clarice, and he's so real for that.
As 2024 was the year of Monster Loving Movies, I propose 2025 as the year for an accurate remake of the Hannibal movies. With a book accurate Margot Verger and an expansion of the last scenes from the third book, for science 😳
They give us Rain and Andi because they denied us Elizabeth and David, but I do not forgive and I shall not forget.
Anyways please don't take them away.
Growing up is realizing that wathever weird shit Claudia and Louis had going on is nowhere near the WEIRD FCKN SHIT!!! that Gabrielle and Lestat had and will probably always have going on. Dear lord I'm on book two do I even wanna read the rest?!?!
So I've read two of the Hannibal books (Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs) and I've come to realize that in the series not only does Will Graham feel like a mix of his book counterpart and Clarice Starling, but the character of Miriam Lass is supposed to mimic or be a substitute for Clarice a little mixed with her friend Mapp. So I don't understand why they couldn't just name her Clarice, is it because Hannibal is already obsessed with Will in the series?
Maybe im late to realizing this, but does anyone have any theories? I want to know.
The worst part in the Stoker movie is knowing that if Charlie hadn't killed India's father to get to her faster, she would have definitely left with him. Girl wouldn't have thought twice about it, even as she killed him you can tell she didn't actually want to to it.
I think the biggest whiplash as an OG fan of the Roswell series reading the books, is finding out sherrif Valenti is the BIGGEST piece of shit imaginable.
As a very big fan of Hannibal the series and now having watched Clarice the series, I can totally see what Hannibal saw in both Will and Clarice. Will as he said is a mongoose who protects against snakes and Clarice is a wolf in a lambs skin. Both dedicated and perceptive and complex. At the end of the day Will is the only one who could ever understand, empathize and accept who Hannibal is, to the point he prefers they both die together instead of being without him. But god does he have good taste, both of them are HOT!
Don't really enjoy the new Roswell series, but I found some of the books both series are based on and found out Rosa did exist in some way. And now I'm wondering why she wasn't mentioned in the original (or if she was I don't remember), she's literally the only thing I like about the new series.
How did it take me so long to realize that for all their differences and resentment on her part, Katniss loves exactly like her mother. Her mother left EVERYTHING for the man she loved and promptly went it a depression so bad she was almost comatose after his death. Katniss without even accepting to herself that she loved him did everything she could so he would be the one left alive after the second Arena, without thinking of all the people she would leave behind by doing that. And then proceeded to mentally check out when she couldn't save him afterward.
Everyone is pointing out that Goldrose is just budget Hannigram, which, totally fair, but the thing is. To my understanding part of the appeal of Hannigram is how well they genuinely do understand each other even while they successfully lie to each other, right? Whereas like, even after the truth is revealed Rhys and Joe are mutually delusional about each other which I think is a slightly different flavor of murder ship.
To me it's more like bargain bin Hannigram meets Nygmobblepot levels of insanity, and I'm so ready for shit to go down. 🤣🤣
