favorite bird sexual dysmorphism?

They tend not to be super visually crazy, but I really like the sort of "reverse" sexual dimorphism found in some birds (jacanas (neat birds but the females are just bigger so I don't have a good example), painted snipes, and phalaropes come to mind), where the females actually take the typically "male" role of being brightly colored and highly aggressive, and it's the females who typically fight off other female suitors from their poor little males (I don't know if all of them form harems, but I know jacana ladies have harems of males). I just think that's so neat.

Also not really sexual dimorphism, but that one sparrow that essentially ended up with 4 "gender roles" or "sexes" (if we really loosely apply those terms) via weird color morph stuff.

if i have to go with a more typical one:

I've always loved hummingbirds, and in a roundabout way hummingbirds are actually the origin of this username (as a long tailed sylph is a type of hummer). The males are afaik pretty much always crazy bright colors with their gorget (throat), with the females being pretty/iridescent but not to that level. Of one's I'm familiar with, Costa's and Rufous are particularly pretty, though I really like that broadtailed males have something (apparently a feather feature, according to this dorky facebook post) that makes them sound like tiny fighter jets when they fly.

last night i had baba ghanoush - so eggplant! I'm usually not a huge hummus fan (I find the texture sandy) but it was pretty good. I also definitely balanced out any health parts of eating it by absolutely obliterating a chunk of lamb. Yummy!
