Movie nights with Valko are your favorite. Snuggling on the couch, holding him close never fails to bring you comfort. You rest your head on his chest, listening to the subtle thumping of his heart. His tail wraps around your waist, brushing your thigh.
"This one? Hmmm. You in the mood for sci-fi?" You hold up the remote, searching through genres to find something that might work.
"Nah. Seen too many of those recently."
"Horror?"
"What about a romcom?" He sighs, stretching out on your couch and resting his hands behind his head.
"What about Twilight?" He smirks, clearly trying to rile you up.
"Val! We are not watching Twilight." You laugh.
"You’re the one always comparing me to Jacob."
For some reason, the TV just isn't responding, so you press down harder on the button. You angle the remote, as if that would somehow improve the connection. Unfortunately, the smooth plastic slides out of your grip. It clatters to the floor, the battery cover popping off.
"Shit. Valko can-"
"Got it!" Valko practically dives towards the remote, grabbing the device.
"Thanks…"
"No problem!" He gives you a fanged smile.
That's weird. He seems almost… Happy? Proud? Excited? That's the word. He seems strangely excited to retrieve the remote for you. You didn't notice it at first, but now that you think about it, it's something he's done since you met.
Just last week, you dropped your pencil while you looked over reports from the Association. Before you even registered that you had dropped it, Valko handed it back to you.
Yesterday, you accidentally knocked your phone off the counter while cooking. Valko was there to pick it up.
This morning, the toothpaste tube slipped out of your hands when you were brushing your teeth. He literally ran from the other room just to help you.
Then it clicked.
"Valko," You sigh, staring him dead in the eyes. "Are you… playing fetch with me?"
"No! I'm-" His voice cracks, coming out a few octaves too high.
"Ahem." He clears his throat, his voice returning to its usual baritone. "No. What do you mean? Tch. Playing fetch. I'm not a stupid dog." He insists.
"Right…" You give him a side eye, but resume the movie search regardless.
You hand him the remote, letting him find what to watch while a plan brews in your mind. There's no way you’re letting this slide without teasing him. It's just too good an opportunity to pass up. Spotting the bag of snacks perched on the table, you reach over and grab it, letting the bag slowly fall from your hand. It lands on the ground with a crackle.
Like a sleeper agent, Valko's eyes lock onto the package. His eyes narrow, like he's stalking prey. The wolf hybrid lunges, snatching it up from the floor. Valko then places it in your lap with a gentleness that belies the urgency with which he grabbed the bag of snacks.
"Valko."
"What?"
You snicker and toss the bag across the room.
"Valko, fetch!"
He bolts up from the couch, scoops up the chips and returns it to your outstretched hands.
"Oh. No, no, you did not!" Valko's face drops as he processes what in the world just happened. Red blooms across his face and his ears twitch in anger as embarrassment sets in.
"Stupid wolf instincts." He mutters. “Stupid human."

It would have been easy to give up on Valko. Simply continue your day, grieve for a few weeks, move on while keeping him with a heavy heart. But, you were stubborn. Extremely stubborn. Instead of letting go like people expected you to, you showed up in front of the office.
Specifically in front of the office that took him, the office that doubled as a lab ment to poke and prode him until they figured out what they did wrong before throwing him into the aether.
You knock, once then twice and when thrice came you refused to actually knock four times. Bracing yourself, you use your body to crash through the glass.
Everything hurt after, but you stood up anyway, cleaning up your body from the small debris.
"Who the hell are you?!" A guard sneered, you shot him.
"GE-" You shot him too before he could finish the sentence.
You were stubborn as all hell. Stubborn enough to pull the trigger on anyone who came near you. No one took your damn wolf. Come hell or high heaven, you would leave with him by your side.
The second floor was ultimately devoid of life by the time you came. Large empty sleek hallways remind gaping for you, the only shred of life was the shitty corporate speak lettering on the white walls.
A click.
You turn, eyes sharp and focused, gun already aimed.
"Calm down sweetie." It was Sylus, his voice told you that much. "I'm only here to help."
Satisfied you turn and march along to the staircase. Nothing more than empty boring corporate steps, the logo plastered everywhere as if it was a torture device.
Reaching the final step. A lab door was the first thing you were met up with. Before you could do something drastic, Sylus's large hand was placed on your back. He managed to somehow calm the wild untamed anger deep inside.
"Let me open the door." As he spoke, energy tendrils wafted underneath the door.
Click. The door was open.
And bang. Every asshole that dared to hurt your beloved was shot down.
Beside you a white haired devil stood. Eyes gleaming red as he ravaged them too. Because just like you, he also wanted his wolf back, so did the others. But even he held no candle to your rage. The one that festered so much you could barely hear your boyfriend.
You had another lover to save and Sylus was safe and sound. You could focus on taking Valko back and ignore him lovingly for a bit.
Finally. After searching for so long here he was. Sitting on a hospital bed, legs touching the floor as his hand gripped the side. His back was turned, his ears were dropped.
"Valko?" You called out.
He turned to face you, yellow canine eyes wide as saucers.
Valko stood up his arms wide open as he scooped you within his arms. His hold was tight, every fibre of his body wanting nothing more than to meld to your own. Nose buried deep inside the crook of your neck, he inhaled deeply.
"What are you doing here? You have to leave it's dangerous."
"I'm not leaving without you."
"Little wolf. They won't let me go."
"I'll make them."
".... liste-"
"I don't care..." Tears begin to fall on your cheeks, "I do not care. If they don't want you then I do, if you have no were to go I will take you. Everything else can fuck off. Just come with me or I will drag you." You dry your eyes, "I refuse to let you die here."
And you kept that promise. Because it wasn't long before he was safe and sound snuggled with you in Sylus's penthouse. The boys outside talking to each other about everything that happened, happy that you and him were safe and sound.
Valko stood tall and broad amongst sea of much smaller beings. Ones whose fur swayed with the wind and with their shaking bodies.
He eyed them very strongly hoping they would file themselves as they should. Though of course, children always refused to listen to their elders, even one as capable as he.
"Koko, what are you doing?" You tilted your head, milk bottle in hand.
"....I'm trying not to get cute aggression." Valko sighed, unfurling his arms as he watched them tail wagging.
"Pfft is the big alpha wolf losing to a bunch of puppies?" Giggling you feed one of the tiny ones with the bottle.
Taking a deep breath he sat down in front of the litter of puppies. His eyes still watching their little paws running over each other as they fought to come close. They were barely a few days old, eyes not even open yet.
"Carful that tail of yours could smack them" you chastise — though very lightly.
"Mhhhmm" He brought a hand close. Immediately, he felt tiny creatures overwhelme it and sleep within his large palm. He turned to you, wide eyes screaming help.
"You are on your own"
"...... ..... can we -"
"No. We can't take them home we are only taking care of them until their mom is able to."
"But -"
"No."
Two days passed after you offered to take care of the small lil babies for your friend. You came home from work, tired and unable to stand. Wanderers were strangely stronger then usual.
The moment the door opened you were met with a ball of furr jumping on you. Small — barely able to walk yet somehow had the will.
".... Valko did you-"
"..... I don't know what you mean this is our son, I birthed him myself."

Valko is the type to either love water, he likes splashing in it, jumping in it, and he especially loves how it feels on his body after running around and getting dirty from the forest.
Valko is the type to stick his tongue out slightly when he's focused, happy, or it's hot. He'd be emersed in his work, you'd walk in and find it slightly poking out between his lips just barely visible.
Valko is the type to eat his steak extremely rare. It's practically raw, I feel like he'd also enjoy raw meat in general though I doubt he eats that in front of people.
Valko is the type to look up just like dogs do when in attention, his head whips out when you call his name his head, tilting from side to side as if to pick up on noises.
Valko is the type to sniff at you when you come home. Not in a weird way, he just can smell every place you've been at. "Cafe, Office..., onychinous, arcade, mmm did you have your favourite meal again?"
Valko is the type to like receiving food. He just loves eating in general, but his friends or you giving him food may be the best thing ever. However, if you give him something he doesn't like- he will look at you like you shot him.
Valko is the type to get angry very easily and hold grudges. He doesn't lash out because if he does its catastrophic, but he will always fold his arms, farrow his brows, press his lips, and go into silent mode. If he's angry angry, he runs away to bite at things.
Valko is the type to need those biting toys. Mostly for sensory reasons. He is in fact embarrassed about it.
Valko is the type to be loyal to a fault. He will do whatever you ask him, wherever you ask him, whenever you ask him. But, if it endangers you, he will ignore it entirely.
Valko is the type to get distracted easily, look from one thing to the other. In contrast, he will actually hyper focus on tasks or interests.
Valko is the type to have a circle of inner friends. He requires trust and loyalty, so he is very particular about who to let in and who not to. This makes it extremely hard to be friends with him even though he's cordial enough with strangers.

These are a bit more dark, they have a lot of monster energy and may be a bit more on the dark side so read this section with caution!
Valko is the type to stalk. If given the chance, he will try to find you wherever you are. It's out of needing to be with you every moment, just how like dogs will run towards their owner if let out of the house. However, he will spend his time reaching you just getting distracted — food stalls, movies, anything he finds interesting he will stop to do.
Valko is the type to actually hunt things. Unlike his need to stalk, he will find things catch. This can be cute with arcade machines, play fighting, or the such. But this can change to scary real quick when he sees it as a serious thing.
Valko is the type to become jealous. Especially with people who don't pass his vibe, if they don't, he will stick to you like a dog and refuse to let them close. At least, not without scowling at them and sometimes you.
Valko is the type to run through the forest and hunt animals. He eats some, then brings some home. His home is full of pelts and the such.
Valko is the type to view the world as those who have the power can dominate. However, he views this power as not only strength, but also smarts, creativity, and any way that someone can take the advantage and move ahead. As such, he will not go easy on anyone even you.
Valko is the type to use his actions to communicate rather than actually speak. Because of that, he will grab or hold you when he's frustrated. If you try to leave, instead of saying stop he would grab you by the hand, though you can always keep going, while he can force you, he never does.

This is the smut level for those who are uncomfortable or can't please skip this level which is the last one!
Valko is the type to like predetor prey play. Especially when it involves running and catching. If you run from him, it only spurs to have him catch you even more. Consent is key.
Valko is the type to be into collars and leashes, if you can get it on him. He's a switch, and the key is to actually make the other submit. Collar him up if you can and make him obey, just know he will take every chance to turn the table on you.
Valko is the type to lap you up. Every inch, then bite wherever he had licked, dog instincts and all that.
Valko is the type to be loud. It's not talking loud, it's noises loud. Yelping, whining, groaning, grunting, growling, snarling. Every type of loud, even body wise, every inch of him makes noise.
Valko is the type to like experimenting with things in the bedroom. Despite his type liking to keep it natural, the moment he realizes he can take control with toys (even when they aren't technically made for intercourse), lucky him, he has the evol to make those toys appear on the spot. Push him enough and he might make his own muzzle.
Valko is the type to do after care sloppily, he does want to make you feel good after. He just tends to doze after, though, he will feed you if you let him. Sometimes, he will shower you, but he'll likely fall asleep after. If you topped, expect him to expect you to do after care.

Everyone was whispering when the livestream had begun. Destiny Cafe full of five gossiping men, each one with their own emotion to boot, opening the app to include them may have been a bad idea.
"Everyone is saying it's the new guy." Zayne sighs, "I'm not sure we have space here for six people."
"Well he won't be having mine." Rafayel jumps in, his arms already folded. "My spot will stay my own."
"Guys calm down I don't know if it's going to be the sixth." You stare up from your phone to your PC screen, watching the moon.
"Then what would it be, sweetie? I doubt they'd put this much effort for just another livestream." Ever the suave man, Sylus's eyes scan his holographic pad.
".... can you even read that..." You poute at him.
"Do you think we are just stuck perpetually in darkness when you aren't around? No kitten, we have lives, news, and our own world wide web." He shuts it and leans his arm against the rest, tapping his fingers against the fabric.
Before you could reply, the first breaking news began. Otto's kid voice resounded through the room, catching yours and the LIs attention.
"Hermonal beast? Are the wanderers going into heat or something?" Confused you furrow your brows.
"Ya sure it isn't Gups pips? He's the fish in heat most of the time" Caleb chuckles.
"Ugh, shut up wet dog"
"You wish gups"
Tuning Caleb and Rafs bickering — You zero in back on the livestream, anticipate growing with every passing moment. Once the countdown began, you were almost jumping out of your seat.
And then it happened.
"Wolves rule the"
"No fucking way" Caleb hisses, "No - No that can't be true."
"Jealous?" Low and light, Xavier teased. "Don't worry, me and star won't replace our favourite dog."
"He looks... interesting..." Sylus seemed to care very very little.
Teaser over, you sat back trying to soak everything in. Meanwhile, Sylus remained on the cafe's chair while Xavier leaned next to the arm rest right in front of the screen, every once in a while, Sylus's hand found itself interlocked through Xavier's hair.
"If he's good he can join our little marry band. If he's unlikeable, he can stay outside. Fitting don't you think?" You could practically hear Sylus's soft smirk as he spoke.
Zayne didn't seem too enthused. He had chosen to stand next to Sylus on the other side, amber eyes trailing from him to you then to xavier. Somewhere in them, you can see him trying gather his thoughts.
"He's not that great right pips?" As usual, he was desperate for your attention.
"He's handsome. you're just jealous like every other time I interact with literally every other man, woman, or in between." You smile staring at Valko's image.
"............." The galaxy eyed man sucked in a breath but didn't answer.
"Awe, it's okay puppy. We'll still collar you." Smooth timber, as flirtatious as ever caught Caleb's ire. Him and Sylus had a strange relationship.
"Mh. Sure."
Through the day, you keep LADs open. Letting each LI saunter in and out of the cafe at ease. This was your daily life since you figured out they were alive and conscious.
Each one would meander in to visit you — glitch themselves in the story to comment as if they too were experiencing it with you.
Sometimes when you were too busy to farm, they'd do it for you in the backrooms. You would simply come home to a full stack of wishes and diamonds to boot. Though, they were mostly useless since they made an effort to always come home to you.

I actually have a theory about his two pairs of ears! I'm pretty sure it's wrong but I just thought it makes sense! Please tell me if it makes sense to you because I have been told before that sometimes I don't make sense 😅
What if a bunch of mad scientists who want to create human hybrids with animals to enhance humans so they needed a suitable guinea pig for their experiment.
They also wanted the human to be able to transform so that human can change to camouflage as just an animal in the wild, fight animals if needed, and to be faster than a human could be.
Valko is actually just a human who is naturally strong with fast reflexes, and good instincts. He's similar to wolves in his mindset like he's independent & steadfast so he's quite compatible with wolves.
He was kidnapped and forcibly experimented on.They couldn't care about how having wolf ears & tail would affect him. They only care about making their dreams of creating human hybrids come true!
Valko needed time to both adjust to his new additions as well as to memorise the patterns to escape. He did but he couldn't do anything about the scientists so he needed power & influence to find them before making sure that they will suffer the consequences as well to prevent anymore victims like him from happening!

Hello anon, and thank you so much for asking about my thoughts <3 it actually means a lot to me personally.
Before beginning on my main thoughts, I would like to state that I have always loved wolves and the monster that is werewolves. They have been my entire life from childhood, so I went into him already biased towards him!
Now, for my own thoughts on the new LI, I will split it into three smaller parts my thoughts on the LI himself, the things surrounding the LI, and the, and his design.
LI Himself 🐺
I am super into the new LI. Again, I am biased towards wolves and werewolves, so no brainer that I would like him! While his design has more notes, him as a concept I am extremely into.
While his aesthetic is over the type as heck, I am EATING it up.
I'm thinking he may be a Canis Lupis Ligoni (Alexander Black Wolf) or another type of wolf.
I'm so ready to just eat him up when he comes out! I have always been an OT something since I always see the good in characters, but, I'd still have to play his story so I can actually give an opinion on his character beyond aesthetics and willingness to play and like him so far.
Things Surrounding LI 🐺
By things surrounding the LI, I mean the game plot, other LIs and a little bit if the fandom and company.
First, I do think that Sylus and Caleb needed more content before he was released. In addition, he was a bit sudden even if he was hinted at in game. His announcement felt more like a sudden answer to the new competitor than a need. However, they did hint at him and would have had to have known the story they needed to tell with him since planning, creating art, animating, and placing him in the world would need time. So, I'm not sure if he was rushed — his announcement just felt that way to the general audience. Perhaps, this is due to the story they want to tell with him, after all his announcement felt more like a a sudden emergency, tailored after real emergency announcements. His sudden appearance could just be part of his story.
To add to the above, he has always been the yellow stellactrum which relates to his eyes. These eyes often associated with wolves and werewolves in particular. Though, this is a stretch I do admit.
Unfortunately, until more information comes out and his story and creation process are shared more on, I wouldn't really know which it is.
One thing I hope they do is that with his release, they show more of the rest. Since they did release the game with three LIs, they could now focus on releasing the content for the three more recent LIs. But, I'm not sure if they would do that given their track record in LADs and Nikki.
On another note, the fandom response has been, in my opinion, quite strange in a negative way... slightly. First, many of them in certain spots became vitriolic towards the LI, saying he's too gay for them. Then, others became racist. In contrast, his new fans have already been defending him by being rude to others. I must stress this, he is not even out yet. I also like him thus far but there is no reason for both sides to be this insane over pixels that aren't even in the game yet.
LI Design 🐺
Oh Valko, you have been so done dirty by everyone. Let me start by saying that I personally like how he looks. Even the hair. Even the voice. Even the name.
First: WHY DOES HE HAVE TWO PAIRS OF EARS MAN ITS THROWING ME OFF ITS SOOOO FUNNY TO ME LMFOAOAOA.
Second: Everyone is saying he looks like Caleb and Sylus. There is some truth to that, he does have similar features but he looks different enough. To be honest, I did not clock this similarity at first mostly because the similar things are not direct copies. His mouth is different, his eyes are different, and his nose is different. Rafayel, Xavier, and Zayne also have some similar aspects, like their eyes, aspects of their cheekbones, etc. So in that way I don't really mind, even if you put him in Sylus's hair or Caleb's he still looks different to me. In the end, it's subjective.
Third: People are saying he doesn't fit the aesthetic. He does to me, his counterpart is a fish, he is a land animal associated with nature. When looking at him next to the men, he looks like he's part of the lineup. If this is a C-Pop group I would not think he's an "odd one out" member for an example.
Also, for those who think he's too similar to Caleb and Sylus while also being the odd one out out of genuine curiosity, do you mean the wolf thing? Because if he looks like the characters that fit, then he should also fit, if he is the odd one out then he shouldn't be similar to the others right?
Other than these things, his design itself seems coherent. His colours are nice to me personally, the warm tones make sense to being someone who is connected to nature and "the earth" especially due to his metallic evol as a lot of minerals start off in warmer tones. There is also red and yellow "mineral sand" that animals coat themselves with sometimes to turn themselves red or due to other reasons. Mixed with Rafayel, who is full of adjacent hues, his design makes more sense to me.
Valko is also sharper contrasting Rafayel's rounder features. Much like how Xavier is rounder and Sylus is sharper, Zayne is sharper and Caleb is rounder. This could also add to why he may seem similar to people.
His hair is also similar to Rafayel in its direction and floof (somewhat) but is different in its height and style that is opposite to Rafs. Again, makes sense to me.
Another thing I like is his voice. Not because it "fits" and not because it's "good for him" but because it's kind of underwhelming. It makes him human, makes him feel alive. Not everyone has a super sexy voice and that to me makes me like it for him. Besides, the more I will listen to it in different scenarios, the more I may find it hot or something (hotness is not what I play this for LMFOAOA).
Valko's name is another thing I like. Idk, it's funny and it suits him, and I also like it's memability. Velcro, Valkov, Valumpcious, Valmpire, and Valwoooo. Something's imperfection make it human and importantly, makes it endearing for me. Therefore, this name and Velko in general wins in my book.
I guess my thesis is (which is my opinion) — perfect love interests who are perfect from head to toe, lack the stories, and the little things that makes me feel for someone. A high pitched voice is not a bad thing, it's an sweet moment where I could tell him it's wonderful to me, because it's the voice of someone I like. A weird haircut is a three in the morning text where I can send him stupid little jokes about how big his forehead is (it's not), and in turn he tells me my bird nest hair makes my head rounder.
Imperfections are the moments we live with as people. Finally having an LI who is silly, doesn't look "perfect" (which he does he is conventionally attractive) makes me feel like he is real, like he was bullied for his voice like me when I was younger, that he isn't this far away God I can't reach. He feels human.
Again he's conventionally attractive but just because he didn't come out of my personal fantasies doesn't make him any less good to me. In fact, it's those external people that get me because I can learn the things about that that make others love them, that make up who they are without rose tinted glasses. I love him just as he is.
The more important thing is - Where has he been Loca.
