Syracuse Seasonal Snow Total
Well we all know that it snowed A LOT in Syracuse this winter. But how much of the white stuff really accumulated in the Salt City? This winter, Syracuse saw 179.0" of snow (as of April 25th). That makes the winter of 2010-2011 the fourth snowiest winter on record. During the snowiest winter, almost 20 years ago in 1993, Syracuse saw a whopping 192.1" (hard to believe right?!).
Unfortunately, in Syracuse, there is no guarantee that we won't see any more flakes this year. For now, let us keep our fingers crossed in hopes that the milder temperatures are here to stay. Here is to you brave CNYer's that braved every inch of snow that fell during a winter that was good enough for the record books!
Special thanks to ABC News Channel 9
