When referring to us, you can call us by our blog game (sysfreak), by some version of our system name (Cherrie Garden Coven; Cherrie; Coven), or Ambrose!

We use he/him pronouns as well as vamp/vampself, tox/toxicself neopronouns and occasionally it/its. They/them can be used when referring to us as a system!

We're a trans man (not transmasc, a trans man; these two terms are not directly interchangeable), as well as panromantic and possibly aceflux? We aren't entirely sure, but we're somewhere on that spectrum!

We are currently 18 years old. As such, we ask that minors exercise caution when interacting with our blog, since there may be mentions of adult topics here. And before anyone starts wondering; no, we do not share personal information about our alters if it isn't safe to do so. You don’t understand how genuinely excited and happy I got to finally see another person talk about how “mutt” is a slur against mixed-race people…

I once had a white person think they were entitled to it because of their trauma regarding dehumanization—like buddy, what do you think the slur was meant to do to us?

“Oh, but I’m just referring to a mixed-breed dog!” The slur is literally comparing us to the likes of a mixed-breed dog.

its extremely weird to me that a few months ago there was a whole awareness campaign informing people in alterhuman communities that mutt is a slur against mixed race people and to not use that word as a descriptor/pronoun/etc if you are not mixed race... and now all of a sudden theres swarms of people plastering that exact slur all over their profiles...

if youre talking about dogs you can literally just say "mixed breed" btw you dont Have to use a slur knowing damn well what the history behind it is. there are alternatives (canine, hound, [breed]-mix) you do not Have to use a slur you cant reclaim as a descriptor. its not that hard to listen to poc when they say something is offensive, it really isnt

is this a safe space to say that i dont particularly consider myself an antishipper, but im extremely critical of fiction that uses dark and taboo subjects and generally despise the way proshippers behave as people

im of the belief that it does not matter what kind of media someone is engaging with in their personal time, as long as theyre 1) engaging with it in a healthy manner and 2) arent using it to excuse or downplay real life damage done to real life people

i just feel like we should be prioritizing the safety of others rather than trying to one-up each others "morals" when, at the end of the day, people are arguing about words on a page that only cause harm if the people consuming the work allows it to. and the worst part is, people are allowing some works to harm real life people. the problem is that Some People care more about being "allowed" to indulge in abuse porn and incest than the actual damage that some works featuring those themes can do to real people

anyways thats my shipcourse post for the year and now im never going to speak of it again probably because thats not really what i like to focus my time and energy on every day

someones age and/or poor mental health is NEVER an excuse for sending people death/suicide threats, and SHOULD NEVER be used to limit consequences for those choices.

i dont give a flying fuck about how young someone is, or how much theyre going through in their personal life. i know damn well that when i was a severely mentally ill 15 year old, i sure as hell wasnt telling people to kill themselves on tumblr dot com. it has nothing to do with a persons age or their mental illness. shitty people are shitty people regardless of these factors, and babying people like that when they do objectively wrong shit will only encourage that behavior.
