I'm delighted to announce the Look Outside mod I've been working on for almost a year atp is now nearing completion, and will be released very, VERY soon!
The features are as follows:
A new recruitable companion, with a unique set of skills/interactions
A new side quest with dedicated area, enemies and superboss
Some tweaks to existing areas/interactions

(they chirp at you excitedly)
[The mollusc flinches slightly, then turns around, relaxing slightly. Okay, phew, the creature doesn't seem hostile... At least, not for now. Let's hope it stays that way...]
"Hey there, kiddo. You lost?"
(she shakes her head)
(they hand you a piece of paper, it seems to be a note)
'haaiiioo im Avery who r u?'
"Uh... My name's Kate. Aren't you a little young to be wandering around by yourself? It's really not safe around here..."
your statement seems to have made her angry
she pokes you with her umbrella again
"Wh- OW!"

[Kate yelps and shuffles backwards a little.]
"Okay, ouch. That wasn't very nice."
She chirps at you repeatedly causing you to feel drowsy
