Thinking of my dad and all those who have served our country #happyveteransday On my walk this evening I saw this flag waving. I found myself wanting to write a letter to my dad. My heart goes out to him and all those called to serve our country, past and present. All day I’ve been thinking about the many veterans I know. It is hard to fathom the sacrifices made by so many, including the families and spouses of our soldiers. You are part of the glue that keeps us together. When I think of veteran’s day I think of my mom too, fighting hard to preserve our family. Lila and James, thank you for being a big part of the freedom I cherish each and every day. Love you!
