Catching up!!! Epic Spell Wars! The silliness of this one made me grin from ear to ear! And my friend's baby also had me smiling! You make combinations of cards to make EPIC spells and cast them on other players! Making them loooooose points :) Rating: How much luck 7/10 How much strategy 3/10 How much thinking 4/10 How much talking 6/10 How geek friendly 7/10 How nerd friendly 3/10 How kid friendly- teen How much fun 80% I think it would have been 100% if I played with a bigger group. I had no idea about how many crazy new table-top style games there are out there until I moved in with some friends of mine and they decided to pick up some game they saw when they were at a comic shop to get more Pathfinder stuff. Smallworld! I haven't blogged in awhile from playing too many games! But I really enjoyed revisiting Smallworld. My nephew suggested playing it! It was better than I remember! You play different races that try to conquer and maintain area on a map. The races have special abilities that depend on how they are stacked!! My favorite was the Flying Skeletons! Castle Dice An Agricola type building and victory point game. I loved that you get some chance or variety in what resources are available depending on the rolls of awesome dice. The idea is very unique. I want this game!
