People I Wish I Knew Better

Was tagged by @stardusttshowers for this. I'm flattered, so thanks for that. Favorite Color: Blue. Generic pick, sure, but it is what is is. It's a good color, lot of variety with it regarding darker and lighter tones for it. Hell i chose a really light tone of blue when painting my room. Home Depot called it Absolute Zero, it's a recommendation

Currently Reading: I'll give you a double answer for this one. For fiction I'm reading a novel called Timekeepers that an old high school friend recommended and i'm getting around to rn, a bit obscure but it has its merits. As for non fiction rn I'm reading Marcel Duchamp's biography, also a recommendation.

Last Song: In spanish, Malas Decisiones by Kenya Os, in english Perm by Bruno Mars. Benefit of being bilingual: you get double the variety.

Last Film: Good Will Hunting! Old movie, but really good coming-of-age, hard recommend to most people.

Last Series: This one is a hard one, probably Hajime no Ippo. It's been a while since ive seen a series but that one i binged and really liked, althought its been a fair while since.

Sweet//Salty//Savory: I'd have to go with Savory for sure, so much yummy stuff falls under that category.

Tea or Coffee?: One of the toughest. Had to go with coffee since i had a cold coffee today and it really helped me work with this heatwave.

Working On: Besides my final projects for this year of college, currently working on writing blogs for a blogging league I'm a part of. I should probably get into drawing more now that summer's opening up...

I'm not really sure what to do about Timpanis design, humans aren't my expertise nor is general character design to be frank.

When I think of "Blecks young years" or "time of the Ancients" I imagine the humans and their lifestyle as your traditional folk of old times and since I know a little about Slavic old culture, and I also find it very pretty, I ended up going in that direction with her design. That + some Tippi features like the two strands looking like butterfly eyes and her love for fruit. I used a reference photo for the outfit altough I avoided drawing the embroided flowers on the vest and sleeves as I don't currently feel confident about the patterns for her. I used the rainbow frill from it as well which I found fitting as it matches with her Pixl look. Overall in design terms there's stuff to fill in the future I'd say as I have yet to make up my mind...

Right now the current impression I have is that she was a very stubborn young girl that would get the chores done (most of the time) and run off with friends to play in the fields. She liked being outdoors a lot and rolling in the fresh spring grass, getting her hair messy and full of flowers. Not afraid to get dirty really. She would tend to get in trouble but she didn't really care.

One of her most notable traits were her sapphire eyes. They would always shimmer beautifully and reflected her soul and love for being alive. They were also the thing that Bleck would start to forget as time went on and his goal became to eradicate life, the same thing that those eyes stood for and found beautiful.
