Finished the books so now I can process and get back to finishing my own story. Wild to start writing having only seen the tv adaptation - then to read the source material unofficial translations - and then go back to finish the work. Grateful for beta readers 😍
Thank goodness for fandom, I get to read the books :) Didn’t have “get into German new adult fiction” on my summer bingo card but I’ll take it.
JAMES BEAUFORT and RUBY BELL Maxton Hall - S01E02
do i need to watch this maxton hall show? i'm already obsessed with my lady jane, do i need another prime show?
Yes you NEED to watch it! It is six eps, 45 minutes each, so an easy binge. I recommend German audio with English subs, but I’ve also watched with English audio dub. Both great just slightly different wording for some key dialogue.
I haven’t been this moved by a work / ship since The 100 (Bellarke), and have been mostly reading Dramione fic and watching CDramas the past several years. And the Maxton Hall came along and gifted us with this beautiful new enemies-to-lovers, different sides of the track story and I can’t get enough!
The books haven’t been translated into English yet, but I found spoilers for the series pretty easily so I could know what happens. Season 2 (based on book 2) is filming now, and fingers crossed S3 (based on book 3) will get the go ahead to complete the series adaptation.
Ruby! You’ve been ignoring me for the past few weeks. Can we go back to that?
