I keep relistening to the squip song because Riches vocals are AMAZING! The fact you can hear when the Squip really starts telling Rich what to say is soo cool. I'm kinda sad he didn't get to sing more. Anyway did somebody say Squip? (This is just a doodle it's a little unpolished)

I REALLY LIKE THE SQUIP (and literally every other character in this musical they're all likeable). It has a set task to complete and It'll complete it no matter what. Also I've heard that in the book It doesn't act the same as in the musical and I NEED to know how it acts in the book, how EVERYONE acts in the book but no spoilers please I'm gonna get my hands on it someday!

When I heard this episode, I clearly envisioned Cecil dumping, like, a mountain of Claritin on Carlos. According to the transcript I, um, misheard that slightly.

This episode nearly killed me. Just such beautiful and beautifully worded truth about life and relationships and the awkward anxiety of it all?! Ugh! Science.

Cecil and Carlos. Seriously what the hell are they. Those damnable Nightvale writers make it sound so easy to write LGBT representation into genre stories and, oh, I don’t know, maybe it’s easier in radio! But for someone working in animation, their relationship is just this far off beacon of light (above the Arby’s) of what could be (if only those darn StrexCorp execs would stop trying to kill us).

I love Cecil and Carlos just as much as the next guy, but Kevin is my favorite. I adhere to the interpretation that somehow both Kevin and Cecil are absolutely telling the truth, just from slightly different perspectives.

And: This is my attempt at winning the “derpiest Night Vale fanart” award.

Now, I don’t like to talk too much about my personal life….

I rarely draw fanart, which just goes to show how much Cecil has captured my brain. I think it helps that there is no visual component to the show? It prompts me to engage in the story more by creating my own head-pictures.

+ You don’t know how excited I am to have a canon gay pairing in a nerdy horror/surrealist/Monty Python??-esque show.

EDIT: Woah, good job, me. I forgot his fanon!third eye in half the drawings. This is why I shouldn’t be an art director… .

I was so skeptical of Night Vale two weeks ago and then this brat just wormed his way into my heart. How I loathe heart worms!
