Something I worked really hard to get? My elementalist's ascended gear. Lots of time gated grinding and gold sunk into mats, but I earned it. I'm glad he's fully equipped to be the best he can be!

The new Guild Wars 2 story update is actually pretty cool. I really like the new areas, they’re well made and fun to travel through, but I still don’t enjoy having to go around finding/collecting X number of items throughout the map for achievements because it seems like a superfluous way to "extend gameplay" and "earn rewards" that I’ll either sell or are just there for aesthetic value. The new events are the same kind mishmash found throughout the rest of the game. The content updates are free, which is always nice, but my complaints still stand.

I mostly play the game alone, or I find pugs for dungeon runs. I've usually had good experiences with the LFG tool, but naturally there have also been issues.
When I do have the chance to play with people I know, I run with my good friend Kevin. He uses a warrior and so I can pick pretty much whatever class I want and we do well together.
