Found an old photo from 2015/2016 that I took while in Mexico City. Anyone ever look at old photos and just miss that flexibility and strength? Hahah

Rehab for an injury. Slowly building my strength back up and I am very excited to get back in the ring soon.

Went to La Loma in April. Had a great time seeing my friends and training three times a day! Usually I travel without a team so I never get photos taken of me, but this year I met some Canadians that took me in and we had a blast!

So as you’ve noticed I’ve been missing for a long time. I got a lateral release surgery done to my right knee and afterwards my leg atrophied. I’ve spent the better part of 2.5 years working on rebuilding my strength. I’m at about 80% now.

The goal was to get good enough to test for my fourth degree, and that was achieved last month! So now it’s to keep working on the strength and hopefully get into the competitive sphere again :)

13 months of recovery condensed into 8 seconds. I still can’t run and I have trouble hopping and kicking. But progress is progress!
