I know what you mean, before I converted to a fitblr, I was a thinspiration blog, and it was awful with the amount of negativity people have on themselves, and the self harming pics and ED's. We must surround ourselves with positivity in order to keep going and have happy thoughts, especially for the people who are having a hard time, once they surround themselves with these happy things, they might get some hope.
