He doesn't register being poked at first. Kazuha, for about thirty seconds, is still fairly out of it and completely unaware of his surroundings.

But the longer he's poked, the more he comes back to reality, slowly, but definitely aware of being poked.

Blinking his eyes open, Kazuha turns his head to the side to stare at the stranger poking at him. There's an expression of confusion on his face; he's never seen this particular stranger before, even in passing.

"Hello."

"i know," hermes responds, with as much gentleness as he can muster. apollo is one of the gods hermes loves and trusts the most, being instantly flippant with apollo had never sat well with him. it's not entirely a serious relationship, not all of the time.

the two are both equally prone to mischievous behavior. hermes had let the devotion and worship from the humans get to his head quite a bit, and he's paid less attention to how apollo reacts to all the mythical retellings and his own fanbase, as hermes would call it.

"and i, you," he responds. the more serious moment is over, and hermes is grinning, even resting his arms behind his head. the wings on his helmet flutter with a faint breeze, and he's tilting his head from side to side.

"so does that mean you'd also be with me if i decided to pay a visit to the human realm?" he asks. "it's been quite some time since i've made a physical appearance, and i daresay i'm craving some of their food. i hear their ice cream is delightful."
