manicured

♡ description: blurbs about skz going with you to get your nails done! (inspired by me getting my nails done today hehe)

bang chan...

chan would look down at his half-chipped nails, feeling a little self conscious as you lead him into the nail salon. he's curious about all the swatches and watches you look at them. he's surprised there's this many shades of the same color for you to choose from. when you decide on what color you want, he looks at it and smiles, "that's perfect for you." he sits next to you while the nail tech does your nails, watching with interest. he keeps you company while you wait, and blushes a little when you volunteer him to get his nails done next. (he does, though, leave with his nails freshly painted black, of course.)

minho...

at first, minho is a little confused why you want him to tag along. when you first mentioned it, he opened his wallet and handed you his card without hesitation, which you did think was sweet, but... you want his company, after all, so that's why you insist. he obliges, of course, he can't say no to your puppy dog eyes and the promise of more kisses (and to go to the rescue shelter afterwards to look at getting another cat for your little family). when you get to the salon, you're met with surprise as he walks confidently inside and starts looking at the little bottles on the wall. he sits in the waiting area while you get your nails done, and when you're finished he pays for them, giving a generous tip and thanking the nail tech for treating you. you blush and it gives him a surge of confidence, knowing he made you bashful like that.

hyunjin...

hyunjin is eager to tag along! he doesn't usually get a chance like this to spend time with you, so he's excited to share something so special together. pampering for fun is not a common occurrence for idols, so he loves the leisure time too. he doesn't get his nails painted, but he does get a manicure to make his nails look pretty. all the nail techs compliment his pretty hands which makes him shy, and he does act a little dramatic at all the attention, which endears you to no end. he compliments you incessantly on your color choice and tells you how cute it makes you look.

changbin...

changbin has no idea what to expect but he does have sisters so he knows sort of how manicures work. (his sisters insisted on giving him a couple every now and then when he was a kid.) instead of being helpful and helping you pick colors or designs, he instead takes to reading out the names of nail polishes that he finds funny--he finds 'wharf! wharf! wharf!' to be the funniest thing and laughs about it for at least 10 minutes. he also excitedly points out a pink shade to you and says it's "dwaekki pink" so "you have to get it." he also will (endearingly) annoy the nail tech asking a million questions about what they're doing to your nails because he Wants To Know.

jisung...

jisung is absolutely vibrating at the thought. his favorite person getting pampered and getting their nails painted?! he would also insist on your nails matching in some way, so he'd either get the same design as you or he'd get at LEAST one nail matching. he tells you its so he can think of you when you're not together, which makes you groan and the nail tech coo. you have to remind him there's other designs besides stripes and a cross, which somehow blows his mind. he would ask if he could try out one of the foot baths and then would be howling because the bubbles make him ticklish, and you have to contain him so you don't get kicked out LOL

felix...

felix is also super excited like hyunjin, and would be thrilled to get a manicure. he also would want to try one of those fancy pedicures where they do the hot towels and the seaweed wraps and all that. he would say funny things to you when you're side by side in the chairs, trying to distract you (and himself) from the ticklish feeling of the pedicures. when you're sitting there letting your feet soak, he would pipe up about some weird article he read online of people using fish to eat dead skin, and you would tell him it was gross. (he would remind you there are *much* worse horrors in australia and you'd smack him on the arm.)

seungmin...

seungmin is not a typical client but he's open to the idea. when you take him with you, at first he's content just waiting in the waiting area and flipping through a magazine. (you and him do share a chuckle when you notice one of the magazines has his face--along with the rest of skz--on the front of it.) but, curiosity gets the best of him so he pokes his head over and sits beside you, watching curiously. he'd occasionally ask questions about it, and you or the nail tech would answer. he would find the whole thing very interesting and says he might even try it next time!

jeongin...

jeongin is much like seungmin, perfectly content in the waiting area playing a game on his phone or reading a magazine. but the curiosity gets to be too much, and when he sees another couple leave and admire their nails together, he decides right then and there that he wants a manicure too! (he's a little nervous to commit to the full nails just yet, so he gets one of his ring finger nails painted to match yours. (you find this incredibly endearing and will often kiss the knuckle on this finger to make him blush)). when you both leave the salon, he takes a picture of your nails together and sends it to his hyungs, telling them that they should be jealous of his manicure!
