so i covered ft in general over here but let me talk about the fandom.

( seriously don’t read this if you prefer not to get any critique or vague blogging )

okay. the thing is, i’m a very selective shipper ( to begin things). i admit that. i hate 90% of ft’s ships. i also admit that. the nalu hype is disturbing to me and i wish people would JUST STOP AND LET THEM BE FRIENDS PLEASE. in addition to that, there’s so many blogs just existent for shipping. there’s blogs that turn around canon sexuality just for shipping. there’s blogs that ship with the wrong people (yes, sometimes your ship is incredibly ooc. INCREDIBLY OOC.) and there’s blogs that ignore canon because they think it’s stupid. do that if you want! but giving people the need/wish to ignore their actual character? people cant stick to one chara cuz THEY LIKE THEM BUT THERES THAT ONE THING IN CANON THAT MAKES NO SENSE BECAUSE ITS OOC OF MATSHIMA HIMSELF.

what grinds my gears most perhaps though is the trend of making blogs after they have been in one panel. you know nothing about that character. you have nothing to go with. you will fall on your fucking face if you make that blog now. let the character get more screen time, more development, find out more about them.

all things considered, brutally put; the MAJORITY (not everyone) of this fandom is v childish, has a short temper and attention span, jumps on things without thought, follows the mainstream without thought and somehow has a weirdly pedophile side to them. i don’t like the fandom in itself– at all.

well, i do have some blogs that i find inspiring in certain aspects but there’s no blog that i entirely aspire to take after? like, for example, i wish i had the same elaborate and selective choice of words as desxrtking or the activity of nivaliiis BUT LIKE, WE CAN’T HAVE IT ALL, RIGHT.i get very picky with people rping the same muse and always compare them to me? it’s a natural action for me, though, and i often take comfort because as long as i’m sure that i consider myself the best this or that out there, i will always feel like i’m doing right and can continue enjoying to rp them without second thought.WELL, ON GILDARTS END, YEAH. most of the stuff is okay. i only ever disagree with stuff like people claiming gildarts left cornelia knowing she was preggers/because she was preggers or saying that gildarts is (mentally) daft. that kind of stuff grinds me gears, but otherwise i’m a-okay with most?non-mutuals. people being super ooc? multiship blogs that have about 12 ships. people giving their characters a canonically incorrect sexuality/gender. people that cut replies at over 50%. the list goes ooooon.THAT HE’S NEVER THERE WHEN THEY NEED HIM?he’s a laid-back and yet deep character? he values different kinds of strength that exceed just physical one and has no issue attempting to show people the such in an attempt to help them deal with things? he’s p neat tbhi would have him be more present in canon? idk i’d just think he’d be more included and all, rumours having him more attentive on the happenstances and the like.i have a bunch of headcanons of my muse? i mean, there’s a tag over there if anyone wants to look?
