New Years Chill // Open starter (Raphael)

There weren’t many people out at this hour, before dawn on the side of the road on New Years Day.  Raphael rather enjoyed the solitude and quiet, now that the sounds of fireworks had died away to leave behind only the pre-morning chill.

A light fog obscured the distance, but didn’t keep him from noticing a still shape on the ground, just off the road.  Approaching, he knelt down to check that the person was in fact alive.

“Hey, are you alright?”
