hi. waves my arms. i just wanted to let you know i adore your yugioh art to bits and pieces and it's been a massive draw for me exploring a lot of the deeper themes and bonds of it !! the way you emphasize the Blend between yugi and yami is just like, straight up crack to me. and i know ur into final fantasy which i think? is also known for it's weird stuff with clones and alternates like that? but i'm curious like,,, is this a common thread between ur interests? is there certain works that've made you have more on an eye for this interesting identity meshing or have u just always rocked with it? :0

I'd never really thought about it much before I got into ygo but now that you mention it, yeah i'm a sucker for identity horror. It's wild how much overlap there is between FFVII and yugioh when it comes to themes about identity, memory, life and afterlife, layers of reality, etc. I might also have a painfully obvious soft spot for spiky blond autistic men with wildly distorted senses of self. i suppose that could be considered a common thread LMAO

Before i got into yugioh i was indulging in a suspiciously similar concept to yami and yugi's whole Thing, in the form of my Zack/Cloud mind link au. Two bodies with one mind, as opposed to one body with two minds. Tomato tomahto.

Might also explain why my favorite horror game is SOMA. Combination existential+identity crisis of all time. I'm just into bending people's consciousnesses into new exotic pretzel shapes i think. It's good for the soul :3

Hello! I've just finished reading Ruined and I really wanted to reblog and give a long ass feedbacks there but, for personal reasons, I can't right now☹️

Soo that's why I'm here!! I actually passed by the story a lot before but didn't really give it a chance bc I was... not ready for the angst (and I thought it was gonna be full smut so I was like. Heh. I'll just keep this bookmarked xjdhhss) 😭

I kinda regret not reading it sooner but it was such a good read still😭 i can't even begin to tell you how much it hurt me in a very good way? I love that OC is very understanding, yet knows her limit and knows when to step back for her own sake. When she got mad at Taehyung for standing up for her?????? I LOVED it. Like. Really.

I actually got mad along with her, gosh you're so good.

Anyway, I'm also glad that when it first happened, Taehyung didn't drag it on and apologized promptly. Tho, really, the office wouldn't be my go to place to hear an explanation abt why someone left me behind when we were about to sleep together 🤣 still! I love that you didn't drag that one on and on.

Also, I've always been a mush for [making stupid decision and hurting someone who appreciate u more than u could ever imagine and then running back to that person after a moment of clarity] kinda prompt. When I read the part where Tae is finally ✨️realizing✨️ things, it honestly makes me giddy inside.

I can't tell you how many times I closed my phone just to squeal and calm down before I continued reading again 😖😖

Anyway this has gotten too long and I'm sorry for my rambling 🙈 but I also know how much it means for a writer to read feedbacks so hopefully this means something to you hehe.
