Hello and welcome to the first ever blog post by the co-founders of proUp Ashley and Karolina! We are super pleased that you are taking the time to read what we have to say, and we hope that you stick around and follow our journey!
A little about who we are NOT!
Neither Ashley or Karolina are professional writers and we do not claim that we are the next best thing since sliced bread…I mean who likes fake sliced bread anyway, wouldn’t you prefer the real, genuine, and CRUNCHY Vienna loaf from your local bakery?? We do not have all the answers and we certainly will not claim that we will sell you a service that will solve all your problems…if you know of someone who can legit do that, please comment below with their contact details. We are not here to become instafamous, nor are we here to share our selfies showing how you can make money by blogging/posing etc etc…..the world is filled with others who are experts in this area.
So who are Ashley and Karolina?
We are two real life women who are, mums, friends, sisters, colleagues, taxi drivers, coffee drinkers, multitaskers and so so much more- alongside being business owners who are driven by the entrepreneurial spirit. Yes- that is the reason we are here together sharing our stories. There is so much more to us, but the main commonality Ashley and Karolina share is that we are passionate about problem solving, business entrepreneurship and creating things out of nothing!
Ashley had been wanting to find a co-founder for some time to gain some support and assistance with a business idea she had in mind. Karolina, was on the lookout for a new opportunity to sink her teeth into and having seen Ashleys post on Facebook, reached out, and the rest as they say is history.
In the course of a couple weeks, we chatted over messenger and the phone to see whether we could work together. We ended up meeting half way between where we both live and we decided we both wanted more and we wanted to invest our time, resources and passion into this project.
We really hope that you stick with us. We promise you will not get boring dribble about wishy washy things. You will get real life experience from two women who got together and built something worthwhile, whilst facing challenges as most business people do.
