I like seeing the video story that I worked so hard on shared via @umich news! umichstories
The UMS 14-15 Season is Announced! This video took collaboration of the entire UMS staff to bring together and I'm really happy with how it turned out. At 28 minutes in length, this project was my baby and now it's off to college; it's time to start another.

From Michelle *Outburst* Sun...
First of all, I never imagined myself to be a part of an "asian" sorority. During freshman year, I did consider rushing PanHell, but I never got around to it because I was lazy, haha. Anyway, I grew up in a very white-populated city, so all of my friends were pretty much white. When I got to UMich, I thought it was like an Asian EXPLOSION! Haha. I rushed with one of my good friends and happened to go to the Lambda house for their party one night....and that was when I met Ada! She was very nice and found us a ride home. I clearly remember that I said I just wanted to crash at the Lambda house because I was so tired and I didn't believe the sisters were sober, so I didn't want to drive with them. But they forced me into the car because they wouldn't let me stay there haha. The car ride home was...interesting...haha but in the end we made it home safe and sound :] After the sisters met me at the party...Ada told my biggie (rush chair at the time) to get in contact with me...so I first met my big at Starbuck's! I was really nervous at first because I had no idea why they wanted to meet me there and I thought it would be some kind of interview because I had absolutely NOOOOO idea what rush was! But after I met biggie, I really wanted to do it because I had such a good connection with her right from the start and I wanted to be a part of Kappa because of her! After that day, I went to every rush event that was left since I rushed the last week...hehe. My biggie is the main reason I wanted to join Kappa. Being in Kappa has taught me a lot about myself and other people around me. In a way, it challenged me to learn how to balance my time between school and greek life because sometimes I would get confused and my school work would fall behind...but I did manage to learn! Also, being in greek life taught me a lot about other people. We have to be careful with who we trust and who we work with because people can always turn their back on you at any time, like other orgs. Since I've been in Kappa, I have grown up a lot. I have taken on many responsibilities and experienced different things that I never thought I would. I am very grateful. What I will miss after graduation...all the sisters and my biggie <3 Since we are a sorority, there will no doubt be drama, but in the end, I do love each and every one of them. They are like a backbone that will always be there to support me when I fall. I will miss spending time with them and partying together and just simply being silly. I am very thankful to have met such fantastic people in my life.
