After the tragic events abroad the Skeld, Red and Purple, lacking a proper crew to help them run the ship, end up crash-landed on the planetoid known as the Fungle, alongside another crew of Mira employees who also got ship-wrecked here previously (because Mira takes wonderful care of their employees). That alone is already a lot to deal with, but don't worry: it gets even better! Because Red sustained a major head injury in the crash, and while they're still somehow alive--oopsy!--it seems their brush with death has given them the ability to see the ghosts of their original crewmates, who have taken to haunting them now. Purple, of course, thinks its just a delusion caused by the head injury when Red tries to tell them, but... they all seem so real to Red....
Comic 1 ; How It Started ; Fungle Crew Details Pt. 1 ; Executioner Motives
Welcome... to the "Welcome to the Fungle" au! Set immediately after the events of season 1, this is a continuation of the story I've been bouncing around with @artlesscomedic. The blurb above is the basic premise, but there's some more details that I'll put below the cut!
The Ghosts
The original crew of the Skeld, all of whom are just a confused that Red can see them as Red is. Between the nine of them, they present as 3 different types (all based loosely on neutral roles from Town of Us): Guardian Angels, Amnesiacs, and Executioners
Guardian Angels: As the name suggests, these ghosts are those who are in favor of Red and Purple's success and wellbeing, and who possess some sort of ability or abilities to help protect them. They present as standard among us ghosts but with wings that match their suit color (the same as vanilla Among Us Guardian Angels). They are Cyan (standard shielding ability, protected Purple from the crash, easily able to control the ability), Blue (healing abilities, just barely snatched Red back from the brink of death after the crash, not fully in control of when the healing occurs), and Green (the original, non-imposter crewmate, abilities currently unknown, but eager to help Red out regardless)
Amnesiacs: Like in Town of Us, these individusls are true neutrals. They don't have much stake in what becomes of Red and Purple. Similar to their in-game counterparts, however, they can be swayed in either direction to one of the other two roles based on the actions of Red and Purple, the other ghosts, or even the new crew. They are Orange (the original, non-imposter crewmate, largely still the same corporate shill, even after it all), Black (tettering on the edge of Executioner, Cyan's optimism is really the only thing keeping them from tipping over the edge), and White (constantly wine drunk and whining, upset they lost their perfect life, why are they even here)
Executioners: These ghosts exist with the sole purpose of making life harder for, or even taking out, their chosen target (who, for the most part, is just Red in this case). Like Guardian Angels, these ghosts possess abilities, but instead of for protection, theirs are detrimental. These abilities are aligned with the usual sabotages imposters can activate, even from beyond the grave. Their spirits give off a visible aura of malice that can affect their surroundings. They are Lime (specializes in machine-based sabotages, like reactor and comms), and Yellow & Brown (specialize in natural-based sabotages, like mushroom doors closing off rooms and mushroom mixup)
As mentioned, Amnesiacs can be easily swayed to either side, but both Guardian Angels and Executioners can also be reduced to Amnesiacs, or even flip sides completely, based on the circumstances (similar to how Guardian Angels and Executioners become Amnesiacs in Town of Us if their ward/target is taken out by someone else). For a Guardian Angel, it would require Red and/or Purple doing something so they lose faith in them or feel they are no longer worth protecting. For an Executioner, it would require either the actual death of their target, or simply reaching a point where they no longer think trying to kill them is worth it, whether because their target changed for the better, or the Executioner themself is just too exhausted of it all to continue.
The Fungle Crew
While not yet fully developed, the basics are as follows:
Colors: Primarily the colors from the game that got left out of the show--pink, maroon, rose, banana, grey, tan, and coral. Additional colors may be added as needed.
Roles: At first glance, what remains of the crew from the first ship to crash down in the Fungle seems relatively normal, even sharing some basic roles with the original Skeld crew, like medical or chef. But not everything is as it seems, Red and Purple will come to learn, as each and every living member of the Fungle Crew is actually an imposter of a varying type: shapeshifter, viper, phantom, maybe even just a normal guy with a gun. It's up to Red and Purple to figure it out before it's too late.

ive finally started getting through fantasy high sophmore year, and decided i wanted to try making some designs for the bad kids. we're starting with fig because she's the one i have the most ideas for
below the cut is all my design notes, cause why not! i like talking through why i draw the thins i do, so if you're interested:
In Fig's first introduction as a character, she mentions how in middle school she was bubbly and a bit preppy. That was until her horns started to grow in, and she learned that Gilear was not her father, and that she was a tiefling. She grew up believing she was just an elf, up until she turned 14.
So, because of this, I didn't give her a tail, I didn't give her red skin like her dad, and I didn't give her any big tiefling features. I gave her green eyes for two reasons. One, because it fit well with her color palette as a splash of color contrast. Two, because both Sandra-Lynn and Gorthalax have greenish eyes (sandra-lynn's being kinda hazel, and gorthalax's glowing green).
I gave Fig a long braid with a spike on the end to mimic a devil tail, however. She's the archdevil of rebellion, she's gonna try and fit with that as much as she can. She also gets her guitar, cause it's badass.
Studded belt because of course. Her shirt's the easy bit; it's the band shirt. Here's the logo on it's own, cause IDK if there's any official logo:
The pants! I love Fig's plaid, but I never really saw her as a skirt girl (which is just me i guess). So instead, she gets full ripped plaid pants. If I had more energy to design more patches, they would ideally be full crust pants. But I don't have time to draw all that. I gave the pants the big knee holes some girls do because I think they're cool and I don't have the confidence for that. Fig would though.
Purple laced black boots, not just because of lace code (yes they're just laced normally and not ladder laced, and lace code is dead, but it's still in there), but also as a color callback to her hair streaks.
Ayda feather. Gayass <3
aaaaaAnd that's it! That's all the design break down, I hope this is interesting and made sense! I do still imagine her wearing the spiked leather jacket from her official art, but I didn't feel like drawing leather today. I may make designs for either Adaine, Fabian, or Riz next, we'll see!
another older project i finished recently. i started this at the same time as my wasp, and was about 80% finished, but then she was stuck in Desk Hell for several months.
the face & hands are my sculpts, but the rest of the robot is made of thrifted toy parts, trinkets, and beads.
