Lola probably begged Vaiya to get her one for her (approximately) 18th birthday; Vaiya did so gleefully because she knew how much Ellis would hate it.
15. Is book smart
Emere is book smart in midrash and books that were written at least 1000 years ago. Ras has just the wrong amounts of book smart and street smart to give them just no good sense whatsoever despite them being actually very intelligent and skilled.
16. Is naïve
despite being quite well-educated on subjects like international conflicts over the last couple thousand years, Emere is surprisingly naive in a Disney Princess kind of way.
18. Has very exaggerated facial expressions
Élie, in the way that only a dead asshole in a borrowed body can. Making other people’s lives difficult is one of the few things that bring him joy these days.
19. Likes Harry Potter
Lola and Lichen (and I’m gonna say probably Carmine too) are all HP fans despite growing up around actual real-life magic. they’re all Slytherins, too.

Lichen will suggest murder and then quote you a price.

none of them are actually particularly neurotic in that vein, although Ras has their moments

Lichen tend to chatter and giggle to each other while they’re working, and will do a full-on evil laugh if whoever hired them specifies to do so

Lola will bake you a cake for any reason and it will be hideous and neon and covered in like gummy worms or something, but it absolutely does the job

Ellis is an Excellent Listener and gives good hugs when he’s feeling inclined to do so

Élie is filled with hate but is also a couple millennia worth of sad and cares about a lot of things, but would rather die again than admit it
