Whenever Firefly is happy to see her carrier do you imagine a sinarieno where Starscream would come back she run to him to give him a hug Starscream knows what's about to happen he waves his hands trying to tell Fire no repeatedly and when she's close a slow motion voice of Starscream saying "noo" and Starscream making choking sounds while Firefly hugs him saying she misses him?

It happens specially because of her seeker uncles; since when she was a sparkling, whenever they got back from missions and battles, they would go straight at her crib and start talking to her and collectively hug her because her giggles were the emotional therapy for the seekers. Do Starscream knows about this? Yes, and always screamed at them to leave the baby alone because he had JUST put her to sleep.

So, when she was able to stand, her favorite play was hugging her carriers leg until Starscream couldn't even feel it. And when she was taller than Starscream... she basically bear hugged him everyday and Starscream SUFFERED from broken bones sometimes lol

"Ha! Paper covers rock," Teddy cackled, already running off to join Lucy in the Melton-free truck.

Tommy laughed, shaking his head. It was fine, he could survive Melton stinking up the place. He'd survived worse things.

Probably.

Seat assignments all sorted, they headed out, each unit splitting off to different directions to provide more coverage. Cap hadn't given them much info aside from the fact that they were to provide support as needed. Nothing about who or where. Although once they were on the road, it was clear the answer to that was everywhere.

"This is insane," Melton said as he peered out the window at the unbelievable scene playing out in front of them. Flaming space debris rained down from every corner, carving swaths of chaos and destruction across the city.

"Just another day at the office," Tommy said, shooting him a wink. He tamped down on his own unease. Awareness was one thing, but letting themselves get too distracted by the weirdness of the situation was a good way to get hurt...or worse.

They pulled up to an intersection where at least five cars had plowed into each other, one of them crushed by a mangled mess of smoking metal and another one fully engulfed in fire.

"Right," Melton said, sighing before opening the door. "Piece of cake."

Tommy followed him out, securing his helmet. As he stepped toward the mass of cars, a loud whooshing sound filled the air around him.

"Kinard, look out!"

He looked up to see a bright, fiery ball hurtling towards him.

Hornet was the Sister of the Void. She was attuned to the darkness, though not quite to the degree that her abyssal kin were. As such, she paid far more attention to the shadows than most bugs ever would, for she did not fear the dark.

And she recognized what this ‘walking shadow’ was immediately.

”Halt, tall shadow,” The Hunter said, approaching the shadow, needle drawn. “You shall step no further with that Furm.”
