"Look, I'm not saying Nintendo is a bad company, I'm just saying we should storm the HQ's and make it more obvious that we need the new Animal Crossing or the whole building may find itself dead, that's all I'm saying."

❝ ...not really. ❞ honesty is the best policy, or so humans seem to say-- and truthfully, the red-haired man hasn’t exactly done anything to prompt such an action. she doesn’t often feel an urge to interact with humans, and yet, she still went out of her way to do just that ( though the attitude he displays makes her think it may well have been a mistake )

she’s been staring at the strange white-haired kid wandering around loegres’ streets for a while now, though not out of any predatory intent-- no, specifically, her eyes have been locked onto his hip, studying the strange object held there. from where she stands, in a side-alley away from the crowds’ reach, it’s difficult to discern exactly what the item is supposed to be ( a toy? a weapon? )
there’s always the option of biting the bullet and making her way over to ask, but she doesn’t much relish the thought ( her wanted posters have begun to more accurately depict her as of late-- she can’t risk it )
in the end, she just continues to stare.

it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that she’s seen stranger things than a young child in a pirate outfit, hopping down from a now-docked ship that definitely has no place docked anywhere near her island, let alone on its shores. briefly, she considers chasing the girl away from her island. she also considers attacking or otherwise destroying the ship ( though that would leave the child stranded on her island-- not something she wants to deal with )
begrudgingly, she settles for lingering at the entrance to the cave she calls home, eyes narrowed as she catches glimpses of movement between the rocks. if she’s lucky, the girl won’t find her way anywhere near velvet--
but, then again, when has she ever been lucky?

it’s been on her mind for a while now. she can’t put an exact time on how long she’s been considering the idea, but she knows for a fact that she needs to consult someone else, discuss her idea. it’s entirely plausible, what with her skill set-- but she needs a plan, and while she has many ideas, it’s been difficult ( rather, impossible ) to focus on and develop just one.
she knows exactly who to seek out, though. their skill sets are similar, and the only person on board who knows velvet’s capabilities almost as well as she herself does-- that would be raven.
seeking her out is a rather simple matter ( they’ve proved, with their many attempts thus far, that they are unable to hide from eachother for long ) and soon enough she’s crouched at the blonde’s side, staring out over the sea. it’s quiet for a moment, then--
❝ do you think i could hide from eizen for a full week? ❞
