| ☠️ |  He was daring, perhaps eluding from what had been said, and what hadn’t been seen. He goes alone, steeping foot on this island, and knowing what challenges he may face. Speak of this “Goddess of Calamity” does not faze him. He is not so far from calamity himself to hold such fear, although would assure his crew to stay back, lest some go running off in terror, unable to handle what the island may harbor. 

Eizen is not here to seek out any calamity, and instead perches himself near one of the edges of the island, sketching out what the terrain looks like onto a map. It would be difficult to create a map of the whole world without hitting every spot, rumors or no rumors. He wasn’t going to seek out trouble, and mostly keeps to himself, not wishing to disturb what may lay here. A nearby cave catches his attention, but he is not so foolish as to test his luck in pursuit of potential treasure. 

If this calamity rested there he would leave it be. Let sleeping dogs lay, as some foolish man must have once learned. He was prepared should the need to fight arise, but would do his best to avoid it.

it’s alarming, the clarity with which she senses the presence on the island-- her island? no, no, it’s not hers, is it? despite her ever-jumbled thoughts, she knows for a fact that someone, or something, is nearby. it’s little more that curiosity that drags her from the cave she’s called home for the past few-- months? years? by now, she can’t remember. no malice rests in her actions ( though she glances at the monstrous claws that replace her hands-- she’s been unable to call the manifested malevolent intent back within her. her lack of control is painfully apparent )

one would not expect a being with such a moniker to ever be driven by fear, yet the goddess of calamity ( young and unable to maintain control-- dangerous ) does not emerge from the mouth of the cave, instead leaning her head out just enough to remain hidden ( or so she thinks ) and still observe the surroundings.

she takes note of the malak rather quickly, though she makes no move to approach. a fool, she is not-- she knows all too well what being too close to her for too long does to malakhim, and she doesn’t know how long she’ll be able to maintain control over herself. to anyone around her, she’s a very real threat.

( she knows that she’ll need to leave to procure food, yet for now she very seriously considers slinking back down into the depths of her cave. into safety. )

[ now admittedly my memory isn’t the greatest, so some details for these are fuzzy. ]

[ i don’t think i could choose a fondest memory for either if i tried, admittedly. one of my fondest memories between muns is with @pacificateurs! waaaay back when, when my chloe blog and her aster blog were both still active, we met through an in-character game of cards against humanity. we became friends in less than a day, and to this day we’re still good friends <3 ]

[ one of my fondest memories between muses, i’d say… hmm. my first few interactions with @seaprayer. i don’t think i can quite express how happy it was to find fellow tales of legendia lovers, and being able to really develop chloe and shirley’s friendship & dynamic was something i not only really loved at the time, but even looking back on it now it makes me happy <3 ]

[ i actually find happy, upbeat characters or sweet, kind characters very very difficult to write, mainly because for the most part i can’t relate too well to them. i’m a very snarky, sarcastic and at times i can be very serious, so i can relate to characters like that quite easily, which lets me feel a lot more comfortable writing them. i’ve tried making blogs and writing as those kinds of characters ( like pascal from graces, futaba from persona 5, an oc of mine, etc. ) but ive always felt very very unsure while on their blogs– ]

Hello! After a year of many debates and planning, I finally found the courage to start an RP blog for Richea Spodune from my favorite game, Tales of Hearts! I’ve attempted before but still don’t have any proper experience, so I hope to stay and have fun with this community…!

[ this one’s quite hard to answer! i don’t look for specific information when i look at people’s pages before deciding to reach out, so a lot of the time what pushes me to write with people is their portrayal rather than any information. the portrayal is what shows what’s really being brought to the table, after all! it’s where the muse really comes to life, and more often than not i’ll be drawn to portrayal or writing style when choosing to interact, versus thinking “i’ll only interact with someone if they have a detailed background on their character and i know all of their likes and dislikes”, etc. ]

[ that said, it is nice to have guidelines to follow and some information on their muse– i don’t like to go in to an interaction knowing only, say, a name and age of a character. ]
