No offense to Longclaw because I know she didn’t want to abandon Sonic, but Tom and Maddie being ready to die with Sonic before they’d ever leave him behind because “Families stick together, no matter what” is the most powerful declaration of love an abandoned kid like Sonic could possibly receive. Like of course that’s the first time Sonic tells Tom and Maddie that he loves them, and of course that’s the moment he activates god mode for the first time. Oh my god

I’ve seen some ppl comparing Devon and Ahsoka and while healthy comparison in an art analysis way is good, trying to see which is “better” in whatever way seems counterproductive

Let’s be happy about our well written female characters who have both similarities and differences that can be compared but shouldn’t be pitted against each other

I also think Devon is further along her story line that Ahsoka was when introduced, I would not be surprised at all if we see some pre Maul Devon content in the future. Devon’s arc in Maul is more comparable to Ahsoka’s season 5 arc than her first ten episodes
