I've seen a lot of people around say they think it was Zane, but personally, I don't know what his motivation would be. Zane is shown to be pragmatic. Yes, he's killed people, but he never does it without his own reasons. We're told by Vylad that Zane kinda just acted like he didn't exist when they were growing up together and killing Vylad wouldn't benefit Zane in any way since there would be nothing to gain from it. I agree that if it WAS Zane, it was definitely on Gartes' orders or somehow enabled by him since Garte is the one with the MOST to gain by killing Vylad, not not mention the one who harbors active distain for him. (I also think that because vylad was the one who went to tu'la in season 3 to save Garte that seemed to be where they were going with the reveal of who killed him.) While it's kinda like "oh yeah Zane killed him that tracks" if it was Zane i feel it's more of a (excuse the pun) knife in the back if it was Garte who adopted him and raised him but never loved him who did it. It shows the ro'meaves problems run deeper than just Zane being a bad egg

There’s extreme beauty in kindness and friendship leading to having hope and turning your life around at its lowest points. At least for me I always end up crying like a little baby at those sorts of stuff because of how impactful and moving it is.

Like yeah tragedy is real and it sucks and always reminds me that life isn’t fair but we still have each other as connections at the end of the day. Holding onto the good despite everything keeps me sane :,>
