An AU Fanart Magma Blast!!

Boy oh boy what a theme! Fanart for others AUs and cool stories? Awesome. I don't recall the last time I drew fanart for others works, but like... gotta do that more. Because it's always a treat. Cause people make such fun designs and concepts, and goodness I know as an artist and writer seeing people get inspired to make art by stuff I've made is great. So to do that for someone else is always fun. I had a lot of ideas in mind, more than I thought since my mind blanked but I remembered a fair few! While I didn't do every idea, I did a lot more than I expected! :D!

First up we have.. one I adore so much, the species changed Teenage Mutant Ninja Everything-But-Turtles by @rufwooff / @rufwoof-archive (I think both of these are the same user, but I noticed the first they said they were shadow banned so I wanted to make sure they could be still credited properly!) But I love, love, LOVE the designs and choices for each of the boys. Like of course Raph as a big alligator, perfect makes sense he's already close enough to one being an alligator snapping turtle. Mikey as a frog, fitting so bouncy.. him as a tadpol is SO cute. Leo as a salamander, the markings, the sleekness, it's him. Donnie being a gecko.. he gets to be SO purple, him losing his tail in the first proper shredder encounter? Terrifying. I love it. I love Tanuki/Raccoon Dog Splinter and April's alternative design is so FUN. I love the tot designs, I love the hints of story with the little information give. AUGH. These designs are so cute and fun, I was so happy to get to draw them myself.

Next up is... You've Been Portal Jacked! by @wickcipher Which is such a FUN time. The story feels straight from Rise itself, the style both matches the show and yet is still of course very unique and it's own! I love the way the two different sets of turtles are different aside from obvious changes. Like how the future Mikey is a bit more angular than the past Mikey, while still rounded! I like the way they have the effects of the movie on the boys, like of course Raph & Donnie's matching changes. And Leo despite being the most similar.. still being different with how he carries himself in the future verses the past. I love the poses, the colors, the expressions, it's such a fun time. The brief AMA for the characters was so fun, to get a peak into things, I love how the story is going and am excited to see where it goes! This is also one of the like.. first few times I've ever drawn Donnie more like his canon design, well... in the face. I think I have only one other time where I drew him with his regular face, as I always give him a snoot. It was odd to do! But! It was fun!

Now next we have another fun one, @hitwiththefandomz Spitfire Au! I love the concept of the ninpo/mystic connected dragons. It's already a fun idea, but especially in this manner is great. Having them all being based around elements too.. perfect. The dragon designs are SO precious, and cool. And like.. I love staring at them. I love the way the comic is so far, how they activated them from the weapons.. and Donnie technically from the crystal. But the slow burn to when he gets them, though I'm also glad for the silly doodles of his dragon already being there. They are precious. Ruben. So cute. So little, so bright. Sandwich lover. Vortex, sleek and silly... I love the doodle of Leo frustrated about brushing him and Vortex is PURRING up a storm, it's cute. Crash and Bash... dogs, just big silly dogs that are perfect for Raph. Alis, so mysterious, but of course a stinker who is cat like. I hope to learn even more about these glowy sillies.

And finally we have Fusion Mayhem by @teenagenutant as I love me some fusion designs. I also love how by all means it COULD be a canon thing with Hueso and Piel literally fusion in Rise, but just. AUgh. All the different designs for the boys different fusions are so fun. I did want to draw a few of them, because they are all quite exciting, but I didn't have enough time! So I went with Galileo because.. well he's great. The first fusion in the AU so he gets to be drawn, special treatment for him <3. But seriously. I love how silly his first fusion is, I love how canonically being him is fun, and both brings out the best and worst of Leo and Donnie. Love of space, crafting amazing space related things, but can not sleep for days and stays up... spills everything when asked, has his heart on his sleeve and yet is so self important. I love him. Again I love all the fusions, but Galileo is honestly up there. I hope for more in the future, but regardless if not what is there is so creative and fun!

Gosh this was such a fun magma, I drew.. a fair amount this time! Probably a lot more than I have in a while in one magma session. And I'm happy for it! There were more aus I had ideas for, and maybe at a later point I'll draw them too, though luckily all but maybe one I had already got some love so at least they were still appreciated! Everyone had such creative pieces, and the aus and stories chosen were so interesting! I love when people can appreciate others work just as much as the source material, it's truly amazing. It was such a fun time! And of course as always thank you to @weeklymagmas for hosting!

Graves gets a fear boner the next time Nik catches up with him, because he knows he's about to get torn in two and there's nothing he can do about it. Masochist little shit. 😌

Man, you get him, you absolutely get him oh my god. Graves is a little shit, he loves pushing people's buttons and he loves the consequences of it too.

Even he has to fear the absolute nightmare of an enemy that Nikolai could be, though. He doesn't know the man personally too well, but he has heard of his past, of his allegiances, and worst of all, he has been standing in front of him enough time to know that Nikolai is the kind of guy you do not fuck with.

Still, he cannot help but let his mind wander, when he sees the Russian's big hands make a SAS captain like Price feel small with just a touch on the shoulder, or when his voice booms in a room when he feels like boundaries needed to be set.

Graves is not dumb, he knew what Nikolai meant those words, last time they interacted. A threat, clear and simple, and absolutely not empty. Yet he cannot deny that the next time he found himself alone, with a hand down his pants, Nikolai's dark eyes and calculated deep voice were on his mind.
