There's been so much good Dracula Daily meta about Lucy studying her expressions in the mirror, and her complicated feelings about performing a social role that's expected of her...
But also, in light of certain past and future events, I kind of love that our introduction to her goes like "This is Lucy Westenra. If there's one thing you should know about this girl, it's that she has a visible reflection."

Warning: IMAGE-HEAVY. A Webtoons-style vertical scroll comic using rearranged and recontextualized panels from My Hero Academia. Below the cut is a teaser. If you want to read the whole thing all in one go--which I encourage heartily!--please just go straight to AO3, where it can be read in its entirety, in slightly better quality and without the obnoxious divider lines between panels. If you want an idea of what it is, though, click the Read More below to see the first major chunk.
(The tumblr version of this--complete in four posts--will be up after a dinner break. I’m taking my life and integrity in my hands and posting this on spoilers night, come what may.)
One thing I don’t really like about Black Sails: It implies that most of the pirates (not just the bad ones but for example Flint’s crew as well) torture innocent sailors, but shys away from showing it. Its not like the show doesn’t allow its protagonists to go to dark places and commit moral wrongs, so why not show the one that was very common among pirates (more common at least than a captain murdering members of his own crew).
I just remembered how excited sora was to see santa. I guess my favorite kind of fictional character right now is foolhardy and powerful earnest dirtboys who believe in santa claus. XD d’you think link believes in santa too? probably tbh.
