my spn hot take is that as much as I love him, I think Cas was introduced too early into s4
I think the audience should have been given more time to wonder what the hell left that hand print on Dean’s shoulder and dragged him out of Hell, it would have been more impactful to have the reveal of an angel after like, 5 episode rather than 45 minutes
I just think it would have been more interesting to see how Sam, Dean, and Bobby spent a few weeks trying to figure how Dean was alive only to discover it was angels that Dean didn’t believe in before
What if they had made Dean bisexual, and he hooked up with all sorts of girls and guys, but he told Cas one night, apropos of nothing, "No offense, but you're just not my type."
