I do not understand tone tags that aren't the basic ones

Like I get /gen /srs /j /hj and ones like that but some people I talk to (my cousin, especially after she found out I was autistic😒) use so many tone tags and I do not understand what most of them mean

I could just look it up... but then I find conflicting meanings

Going back to my idea where Wars and Time thought that Legend is secretly Ravio...

Ravio had put one of his cloaks into Legend's bag before he went through the first portal, and deep into the quest, the Chain get dumped into Wild's Hebra winter mountains where they have to seek shelter in a cave and Legend goes to change into warmer clothing and decides that Ravio's cloak is the warmest thing in his bag?

He puts it on without too much hesitation because the others haven't met Rav yet so no one has a reason to make fun of him. You know, besides the whole "bunny hood" thing. But he could easily just pass it off as a magic item of sorts. Time had mentioned a rabbit ear headband that he had used on a quest, so he had an excuse.

So Legend gets dressed and thinks he's in the clear. But then Warriors and Time who knew Ravio in the War of Eras turn around and see this:
